LUNA
As I looked in the mirror, I knew something was not right.
"I'm telling you, you look great," said Elise, my best friend.
Elise and I have been friends for the past ten years. When we were only fifteen years old, Elise wanted my help to record a video of her dancing, and we spent days for the video shooting and then spending days together became a routine.
When I moved to Veridion City for more photographic opportunities, I thought I would not be able to see Elise for a long time. But, Elise decided to move in with me after a few weeks. She got into a dancing academy as a trainer in Veridion City.
Now things are going great with my best friend by my side.
"You know I don't wear dresses when I am in the middle of a job," I said plopping down on my bed.
"Come on, Luna. You look stunning in the red dress. You are going to a club and will not get anyone's attention by wearing something casual."
"I don't want anybody's attention. I just want to get done with this project."
"Okay fine," Elise let out a long sigh, "If that's what you want, fine. Wear what is comfortable," Elise said and left the room.
Getting out of the itchy dress, I put on a green t-shirt and a blue wide-leg jeans.
"See you later," I shouted at Elise who was in the kitchen.
Grabbing my camera, and sliding into my comfy white sneakers, I was on my way to the Night Now Club.
The assignment was to capture the vibrant nightlife of Veridion City, and I wanted to do it as fast as possible so I could get back to my photography studio and work on my other projects.
As I arrived at the club, I could hear the booming music and see the colorful lights radiating from the entrance.
Once inside, I immediately went to the bar and ordered water. I was not much of a drinker, and I needed to stay focused for my job.
I scanned the crowd, looking for interesting people to capture in my photographs. Suddenly, my attention was drawn to a group of attractive people singing in the center of the stage. An attractive hot guy was singing and three other attractive guys were playing instruments. One, an electric guitar, another one, drums, and another one, a keyboard.
They were the exact definition of the nightlife of Veridion City. They were all wearing different outfits but in black color. People were screaming and shouting at them.
I moved to a corner and captured them singing.
After a while when they climbed down the stairs they were surrounded by screaming fangirls.
"Who are they?" I asked a bartender.
"Oh, they're the new One Direction of Veridion City. I don't know their band name, but I do know that the hot singer guy, Tristan Stone is the leader of the band," he replied, and I looked at him confused.
"You haven't heard of Tristan Stone?" The bartender asked.
But before I could reply he was called to serve someone and left.
As I turned around to take a picture of them singing, I couldn’t help but notice all four of them looked attractive and incredibly talented.
Feeling intrigued, I took my phone and searched for Tristan Stone on Instagram, hoping to find more information about him and his band. As I scrolled through his profile, I was amazed by the number of followers he had and the countless pictures of him performing on stage. I found the rest of the band member’s profiles as well. As I continued my surfing, I found out the band consisted of Tristan Stone, a handsome dark-haired singer, Adam Banks, whose photos mainly showed him smoking, Michael Payne, a sweet-looking guy who always had a charming smile on his face, and Daniel Horton, who apparently had a lot of fangirls obsessing over his looks.
The band’s Instagram feed was filled with behind-the-scenes glimpses of their rehearsals, and snippets of their latest music.
After capturing some more pictures of the drinks, the people, the neon lights, and more, I left for home.
