Banished
"Silence! You will find him and you will bring him back to the pack. Alive.", Father thundered as i panted for air on the ground. My face was covered in blood as a result to all the blows. There were wounds all over my arms after he had punished me. There was no way that i could bring Levi back in this state. Not anymore. All hope had been lost and my hands formed fists that turned my bloody knuckles white. "Punishing you isn't even enough comapred to what you two have led us into. The whole pack is in danger!", father stormed as his eyes began to glow red. His lips parted but closed immediately as if he were about to say something but decided rather to not. There was a huge hint of unsatisfaction in his dark and poisoning eyes. He only looked at me and frowned before saying, "Take him to his room".
A guy with a slender body and a carefully sculptured face came in front of me. He looked emotionless as he stretched his muscular arm towards me. "Brendon", i said as i hesitantly put my hand in his. He helped me up and walked me towards my chamber. When we finally turned towards a corner, he stopped in his footsteps only facing to the ground, " You need to find him Astrid! He's your fated mate and i know just how much you're panicking right now...", he stopped in his words as if holding something back. I could only keep clenching my fists, not caring about the wounds on my hands that had gotten deeper. "I know Brendon. I will find him no matter what", i murmured back before heaving a tired sigh. We had already reached my room by the time we had finished talking. Brendon looked at me with a hint of worry, but also emptiness in his eyes. "Get some rest. You'll hopefully be reincarnated tomorrow if Father allows it...but for now, focus on healing your wounds", he said before finally walking away from me. As i watched his figure disappear in the dark, i could only think of what i was to do next. I had to find Levi. I immediately entered my room after regaining my senses and shut the huge door behind me. I felt so weak and drained. I could not heal my wounds immediately because of all the damage that my body had taken. Brendon was right. I could only take rest in the meantime.
As i lied on the unreasonably massive bed, i couldn't seem to close my eyes although they felt very heavy. "By midnight, father would have reincarnated me and I'd be transported to wherever Levi was", i thought to myself as i looked at my hands covered in blood. It seemed as though fate has taken it's turn for me. I was once the most feared and strongest person around here, but after the apocalypse and all that's left, there was no longer anybody to fear, except for Father. He had begun taking charge to get the pact back together. And one thing he pushed on the most, was that i get Levi back to the pact immediately. Father didn't know that i was gay though, he only knew that Levi and I had the same amount of power, and he needed us both in the pact. We contributed a lot to his shity victories. But the truth was that i was in love with Levi. And it hurt me as much as it hurt everyone else when he had been reincarnated into another world.
I could feel my eyes getting heavier as my muscles ached. Only my anger subsided all the pain that was in me, and the devastation that i felt. I closed my eyes and didn't even realise when i went off to sleep. I woke up at a cerain point, feeling extremely hot. I couldnt move or control my body even when i tried. And when i opened my eyes, they met with an unrecognizable figure that levitated in the air. It had only a glowing light for eyes, and it certainly looked like a peculiar species. It had a feminine body and large, burning wings. One of it's own kind. It was the Goddess of reincarnation . It tore through my soul with its blinding eyes before it began to speak. "Your life span has already been decided demon. You will reincarnate as a vampire on earth. And you will have all the powers you desire", it moved towards me as i bent down on my knees. I couldn't stop looking at it almost as if it had hypnotized me. "Bring your fated mate back to your pack". She said those words. The exact same words that my father had uttered. It brought hatred in my eyes. All i could do, was to nod my head. It stopped above my head and placed it's finger on it. Letting out a painful strike towards my temples, i groaned in pain. It felt like it was trying to completely kill me. But the truth is, that i was already dead, and i was on my way to an unknown place. Putting my life in the hands of Levi's fate. Because we shared the same fate.
Before i knew it, all the pain had stopped and my head ached profusely. My body wasn't stuck in the same position anymore. I could move. Without any hesitation, i opened my eyes, only to find myself in a large, silent room.
