Chapter 1: The Three "New" Witches

Cynthia Wind was a sorceress who worked alongside Crystal Wind, Sybil Oncerro, and BlueCrystal. Sybil was the first witch in Crystal Mansion after the ‘incident with the three witches.’ Over against the wall were three, spotless, dustless, stone statues. Each statue had its own ‘gift’ to give, or item to hold (none of the items were stone, they were easily able to be grabbed.) The first statue had a wooden staff with the tip of a Sapphire crystal. The second statue had a wooden staff with the tip of a Kunzite crystal. The third statue had a wooden staff with the tip of a Morganite crystal.

“Who are these statues of?” Cynthia asked the leader of Crystal Mansion, BlueCrystal. She went to touch one of the statues but BlueCrystal slapped her hand down.

“Don’t touch those… They were once brave, witch, warriors of this realm. They lived here first, they made this ours.” BlueCrystal answers the question.

“So, they were brave warriors… Did you fight alongside them?” Cynthia asks.

“No. I am one of them, I am back. Not as evil as I once was, but I was once known as the famous Krystal Poison.” BlueCrystal speaks.

“Krystal… Poison?” Cynthia asks.

“Yes. She got the title ‘poison’ because most of her spells and witchcraft consisted of bottles of poison or poisoned mist.” BlueCrystal replies.

“Oh…” Cynthia responds, Crystal and Sybil walking up behind her.

“What were Krystal’s last words to the world before she died, however she did?” Crystal asks.

“Our… last words?” BlueCrystal repeats, tears forming in her eyes. BlueCrystal takes a breath.

“I… will see you guys… on the other side…” were the last words of Krystal Poison before her sacrifice to end the evil in the realm. But it was more than just Krystal who sacrificed their life to protect the realm, many did in fact.

“Keep in mind, though. There were many more individuals who took part in the sacrifice to keep this realm safe and alive.” BlueCrystal sniffled, smiling.

“Did they have names at the time?” Cynthia asked.

“Yes. Elizabeth and Parrella were my- Krystal’s best friends, they were always there and worked alongside each other. Everstone was a unique… nature deity for sure, he was one. He preferred the terms ‘wizard’ and ‘sorcerer’ though. Apici was Everstone’s wife, but we barely spoke. Everstone and Apici played their own part in trying to end the corruption of the past.” BlueCrystal spoke.

“What corruption exactly…?” Sybil questions, not knowing the whole history of Crystal Mansion.

“The corruption of the hostile witch known as Freilla Moines, or… The Shadow Witch.” BlueCrystal answered, shaking her head.

“L-Let’s not speak of this anymore, I’m recalling a lot of the past memories of what she has done. She killed Parrella first, in her own garden… Then turned Elizabeth into a moss-attracting statue! Now Elizabeth is a statue again-”

“H-Hey, relax! It’s okay, it’ll be okay. I promise you, we’ll stop asking about it.” Sybil speaks up, trying her best to calm Blue.

“Yes, yes. We won’t speak of it anymore, although… just know that Parrella and Elizabeth are probably watching you from The Isle of Shades, knowing you’ve done a great job.” Crystal adds.

“T-Thank you, a lot.” BlueCrystal sniffles, smiling.
