Not Your Average Tale
"When I first started to read this story, I thought that Adelaide would follow a typical 'rags to riches' story- she was a peasant with little to her name, and a ball was announced by the king- seems like the setup for a Cinderella-esque story, but the story goes in a different direction with war being announced instead, and Adelaide offering herself as a replacement for her brother in the draft. I won't go into more details as I don't want to spoil the plot, as the mystery and the twists and turns are a great part of it, and people should experience it for themselves, but overall a great read. "
Captivating and Very Unique
"My favourite chapter was the first one, as it describes the kingdoms in great detail and I like the original idea of each kingdom being based on a sin/immoral act. I especially enjoyed until chapter 10, but then I felt like the chapters became a bit too short and the narrative flow became more stiff. I agree that this book is a page-turner as it made me want to keep reading to see what happens in the next chapter. I also loved the main character, Adelaide, and her brother. They have very kind and caring personalities, and their brother-sister relationship is heart-warming as they try their best to protect each other. Overall, the grammar and wording is very accurate. I disagree that the book progresses slowly, in fact I think it has a nice pace, and some chapters could be edited to be longer and more descriptive. Looking forward to new chapters!"

"This story seems like it’s big. It’s a strong start the protagonist is likeable and all of the supporting cast help to build out the world. You can tell the narrative is building to something big and that it will take a long time to get there, with a lot of character development and good storytelling along the way. "The book is great and I love the bond between Ade and Hen. They are rvery siblings dream. The only pitfall I have is too long paragraphs. I think if you cut them and give each individual a paragraph when they are talking will improve your novel so much better. Other than that, it is fantastic. Keep writing "
When you procrastinate from reading, read this! It is an easy read!
"The chapters are not long, so it is great for those who want a good and fast-paced novel. I read the whole thing in one hour. I do not know why it says I only read four chapters, because I read all of them. The character relationship between Henry and Adelaide is very interesting and there are great plot twists that I did not see coming. The story is easy to follow, even if one does not read the author's first chapter about worldbuilding. There are issues with missing apostrophes in some of the chapters, but apart from that, it is well-written and easily understandable. It mostly has dialogue, with little description. I cant wait till the battle chapters come out!"

The characters are depicted exactly as I imagined them, and their relationship is well-developed. I would love to have a brother like Henry!! Honestly, I don't have any critics besides wanting more chapters! Great job, and I can't wait to see what happens next!"

"HWAAAAA 진짜!!!! I REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS STORY!!! This is the kind of story that I like in fantasy narrative. Not too rich like Lord of The Rings, not too simple to be mistakenly as teen romance and not too slow and not too fast. And this story has it all!!! The author is seriously talented, she knows how to craft a very engaging beginning and later add small details to build the story as the plot progressed. I love the characters since the first page and I love the world-building in the story. I am enchanted with all the seven kingdoms and I have a feeling it will be a one great of a ride!!! Not only am I intrigued by the plot I am also intriguef by the characters here. The bond that the FL has with her family especially her brother is deeply moving and it seriously makes me jealous cause she has the kind of bonding that I want to have with my siblings 🥹🩵 The writing skills is wonderful, and there is no grammar mistakes as far as I know (though I am not native so I am not that reliable in this). There is a very small and minor capital error in some words, like a word that shouldnt be capitalized but was capitalized but it is SO FINE and did not disturb my reading experience at all! It was still great and I love this story to bits!!! Seriously you SHOULD NOT miss this one up! I guarentee you you will have a great time reading it! Wonderful work author!!!♡ "

"The detail in which you write this story is so well written. The way you described the surroundings and the people made me think i was really there. I felt a whole roller coaster of emotions in chapter 4 and I was on the edge of my seat dying to find out what happens!! Such an intriguing read, I loved it!"

Great Fantasy!
"The prologue was a great read and I thought the idea behind the seven kingdoms was very interesting and unique. The characters have clear motivations and goals and they are easy to root for throughout. I enjoyed the sudden twist it was written and handled well and made me feel the emotions with the characters! The world-building was interesting and I only see it going up as the story continues. There were occasionally some repeated words that threw some of the paragraph's flow off, and lots of repeated names that made certain paragraphs feel very bulky, as well a lack of balance on showing over telling but not enough to discredit the positives of the story, which there are lots of! Great story and great work! : ) "
A very Strong Start (15 chapters read so far)
"Becketts are good people, separate and untouched by seven deadly sins represented by the seven kingdoms in a glossary-like prologue. Except, none of those kingdoms really played a big part until much later in the story. I loved the concept, but it wasn't a major part of the narrative until I've read so far. Henry and Adelaide's bond is beautifully depicted, but the journey to the kingdom was a bit bland for my taste, but then I love detailed descriptions. As they're at war (which is the first time it's mentioned during the King's annoucment) all firstborns are to join the army. However, this looming threat does not affect the lives of the MC, their family, or even the population in any impactful way until then. Henry can't, due to an injury, so Adelaide volunteers. From that point, I struggled with the pacing until Adelaide catches the eye of the Queen. As 30 characters have been posted so far, I felt a bulk of the "journey" could be trimmed or needs more emotional resonance from the MC. But the first three chapters were great. The author has the skills (how they depicted the sibling's bond is ample proof) and in my humble opinion, a spruce up of the draft (especially ch 5 to 14) will make a good story even better. "
