Aaliyah Gilbert, the twin sister to Elena Gilbert and that’s all she was known for, while Elena did cheer and the Miss Mystic Fall Pageant, Aaliyah was focusing on books and school. She was always under Elena even though she was smarter and older than her by thirteen minutes. People also loved Aaliyah more than Elena, to everyone Aaliyah was the more beautiful one even though they were twins.

But they changed one day when her parents and her sister went off the Wickery Bridge, her parents didn’t survive but somehow Elena did. She was pissed at Elena for killing her parents because if it wasn’t for her their parents would have never died. After that her and Elena were fighting with either other twenty-four seven over every little thing, it was to the point that Aaliyah ended up in the hospital for having a mental break.

After that Aaliyah left for New Orleans to get away from everything and hang out with her godfather, Marcel. But there she learned about a whole new world, the supernatural and even learnt about herself but began a prize to some people so they could be on the big bad original good side. The only problem is the said original wants her for a different reason. Well that’s what she read in his journals.

After almost a year being in New Orleans, she got a call from Jeremy that her real father had died but she could care less about someone she never knew but what had brought her back to moving to Mystic Falls was when she hear about everything that happen and being turn into a vampire herself by some witches who didn’t like her.

Now Aaliyah being a newly vampire and scared for her life wanted to go home with her family and also help out Jenna who also was turned into a vampire. She wanted to start a new life, be with her old friends, and try to make a change in her life.

But life never works out like that, something always goes wrong and all hell breaks loose.
