"Usually it is quite difficult to write a story in the first person perspective and make it flow well, but the author is able to do a great job of helping you get a feel for the setting of the book while also being through the main characters eyes. I’m only a few chapters in and already know a bit about the main characters background, family, personality, and the overall feel for the book. FL IS QUIRKY!♡
"I love love love the narrative of the story! It is light, funny at times, and VERY sarcastic! The FL inner monologue is also hilarious, she can blurt out some random stuff that does not fail to put smile on my face :) I am in chapter where the FL finally meets the ML and believe me its a very enjoyable read so far :) I would probably pick it up again to finish ir cause I like the plot and I am curious about the demigod aspects everybody say in the review sessions so I am still sold!♡♡ Great beginning, nice plot, very great narrative and likeable female characters! It has everything that a YA/romance/fantasy/adventure person usually like so dont hesitate to pick this one up!! "

Worth reading
"It is very well written, and the reader can feel the loneliness and sadness of Jasmine. In the first chapter, the writer sets the tone for a slow-burning book and for me, the shorter chapters are a welcoming feature. There are a few grammar errors, but not too bad and it doesn't take away from the story. A few of the sentences didn’t make sense and I had to read them a few times, to understand what the writer was trying to say. But if you look past that, this is a great story, written with passion. It is worth the read. I cannot wait to read more of this book, and I definitely want to read more from this author. "
