Chapter 1 Stella
My childhood wasn’t always easy I had to learn to fit in with the crowd. My wolf has yet to appear and I’m the only child of the Alpha Drake and Luna Mary. When I was born they said I didn’t have a wolf but what they didn’t know was that I read up on dormant wolves and it said if my wolf didn’t appear on my 18 birthday it would never appear. See we wolves transform on our 16 birthday and find our mates on our 18 birthday but none has happened for me. Not even I want a mate either. With being an alphas daughter we can’t be seen as weak we got to be seen as strong. But the pack didn’t see me as strong enough to be a leader or a pack member. They bullied me when my dad and mom weren’t around.
Stella originally wanted to be free of a mate because she believes that mates aren’t faithful. But after the longest time she sees why she needs one. Mates are your soulmate in the wolf world and that makes everyone want one. But it can also make you seem weak and she didn’t want that.
Not even the sun or the moon could make her change her mind. So without even checking to see what they are even about she avoids it completely. Ignores that she may be able to fight it and that she may be even able to stay with her parents and her pack. They may bully her but that’s all she’s ever known.
Alpha drake calls his daughter down to let her know he’s having another mating ball and because she’s past 18 years old she has to be there. In the eyes of the council you have to be there if you are past 18.
