"Graveyard shift is a fast-paced suspenseful paranormal thriller. I enjoyed the pacing of the story and the lead up to the big reveal. The Author does a good job keeping your attention and dropping little easter eggs. "I really enjoyed it. It was very refreshing to read a fast paced short story that kept my attention. I really liked the main character, he seemed like a very nice, chill guy and his reaction to seeing ghosts was practically non-existent which I found a little funny. All though there were a few unrealistic moments I think the characters thoughts were conveyed well and the setting was well described. I feel like the author could've added a little world context to the story and given a little more information about the characters life and what kind of person it was, it just seemed like it needed a little more padding. That said I thought it was a really good book, and the plot was intriguing and kept you hooked until the end. There were a few grammatical errors and some shifting tenses but nothing that can't be fixed with a focused proof read, but none of it was very major and you could still understand what the author was saying. I will say that I find keeping the same tense throughout an entire book to be one of the hardest parts of writing. All in all I would say that I enjoyed this book and would definitely read another of the authors books as there relatively easy to read and they're not too long so it's a nice change from my usual reads. The book had a really compelling and suspense filled plot and I really love a supernatural crime thriller so it hit the right audience with me. I'd definitely recommend, especially if you've been stuck reading the same books for months and would like to try something new. The author did a great job overall. x"

"The author's writing is original and easy to understand. The descriptions are clearly outlined and the emotions of the characters are detailed. The graveyard scene is well-thought-out and adds suspense to the story. I think the story should be prolonged as it will interest readers about the murders happening without anyone knowing. The plot of the story keeps the reader engaged. Good job."
Chills and Thrills
"THIS WAS AMAZING! I read the first chapter and had no idea what was going to happen. I expected it to be a ghost story like all the others but I was surprised by this and it got more interesting with every single new paragraph. I loved the characters and how they interacted with each other. I have no idea what I would do in their situation. I loved the introduction of some of the characters. And I loved how the author kept us on our toes about what was going to happen and how they did the suspension of the story. The ending was shocking and also very fitting! 10 out of 10 would recommend for someone who loves reading supernatural stories! "

"Whoaaaaa! What a book!! Very, thoroughly enjoyable ✨️ but before I begin, let me say my thank you to Ed for getting me out of my reading slump! After reading too many romance, I kind of need a break. I am soooo glad I decided to read this book cause this is clearly what I need right now! It has everything--shirt chapters, light and easy narrative, amazing hero and heroine, and fast-paced plot. Basically no room for boredom if you read this book. It is a story about a guy named Alex who just got a job in a cemetary. What he did not know was that there were surprises waiting for him--mysterious graveyard with black water pouring out, ghosts flying around, and the worst of all, a serial killer in tow. I love reading how Alex navigates his way to catch the bad guy and solve the mystery about the murder of those people in the graveyard. It was highly entertaining and how his 'friends' help him and they together hand in hand cooperating to solve the murder was totally intriguing. I literally read it in one sitting and I cant get enough! Thanks for the entertainment Ed! It is a great read indeed 🥳✨️"

"I haven't read a horror work in a while, so I'm not the best person to pass an opinion on it but I did enjoy this read. I would say that a final polish/proofread to tidy up a few bits would be helpful but overall it's a solid piece that serves well as a novella. I read this in one go as I felt like that would provide me with the best reading experience for your writing style. It did add to it as you did a really good job with suspense and ending chapters at the right instance to make readers want to continue! Can definitely see this as a short movie or maybe a game!"

"Honestly at first when I started reading it, I wasn't too sure if it was for me. However, after reading into it a bit it started to intrigue my interest. If I had to rate it so far I'd give it roughly a 8.5-9/10 but obviously that could get better as more chapters are released. Overall I'd recommend this to anyone who's interested in eerie and subtle horror. Good job!"
