Chapter One
“And that’s what’s new here in Andros City. Remember to keep smiling and to have a great day.” Amelia said to the camera. She smiled as the red light and the bright lights all turned off. She looked at her cameraman, Nick. “And another excellent podcast report from Amelia Harris has been completed.” She said.
Nick smiled. “And another peaceful moment in Andros City.” He told Amelia as he went over to the desk Amelia was at. “Been an entire week since the Omnis attacked last.” He looked at Amelia. “Do you think they’ve finally given up?”
“Unlikely.” Amelia replied, shaking her head. “After all of those attacks, I doubt Zenzar and them will just give up the fight.” She wasn’t sure why the Omnis had stopped but she had a feeling that they were up to something.
“Why do you think they’re being so quiet?” Nick asked. “If they haven’t given up, what are they waiting for?”
“I’m not entirely sure.” Amelia confessed. “But Henry and Hoot might know something.”
The Omni Lair
Zenzar entered the main chamber. “Lord Slavic, you wanted to see me?” He asked his master.
Lord Slavic looked at Zenzar. “I did, Zenzar.” He told the Omni. “I have finally come up with a plan and I want Nether and you to carry it out.”
“What? Nether and me?” Zenzar asked in disbelief. His master couldn’t be serious. Nether and he despised each other. It would be disgraceful for him to work with Nether.
“Yes, Nether and you.” Lord Slavic said. “Is there a problem?” He knew Zenzar didn’t want to work with Nether and that was exactly why he was sending the two to Andros City together.
Zenzar resisted the urge to growl. If Nether and he destroyed the Knights, the city would be ruled by Lord Slavic. “What is your plan?” He asked.
At that moment, Nether entered the main chamber. “You wanted to see me Lord Slavic?” He asked his master before he looked at Zenzar. “What is he doing here?”
“You’re both here because I wanted you both here.” Lord Slavic told them. “I have a plan to destroy the Knights and I want you both to carry it out.” He snapped his fingers and several Ninjomnis came into the main chamber. “You’ll push the Knights to their limits and destroy them.”
“I hear and obey.” Zenzar said. He gave Nether a look before he turned into an orb and flew out of the chamber.
“I hear and obey as well.” Nether said, growling before he turned into an orb and flew out of the main chamber. The Ninjomnis turned into orbs and flew after the two Omnis.
Oceanus entered the main chamber. “What is your plan Lord Slavic?” He asked. “Much of your essence is still trapped in the prison.”
Lord Slavic looked at Oceanus. “I am well aware of that.” He told Oceanus. “However, with all of the destruction and fear the Omnis have caused, my prison will soon be broken for good and all of me will be released.”
“What if Nether and Zenzar fail though?” Oceanus asked.
Lord Slavic laughed. “They won’t fail for one simple reason. I just need a little more destruction and chaos to destroy my prison for good.”
Oceanus realized what Lord Slavic was saying. “So it doesn’t matter if they survive the fight against the Knights at all.” He said. He had forgotten how cruel his master could be.
“It doesn’t but I don’t want them to know that.” Lord Slavic replied. “If they knew that as well, they would never do as I order them.” He knew that both Zenzar and Nether would never let themselves get destroyed just for his evil plans. Both were too stubborn and prideful for that.
From her hiding spot, Selena heard Oceanus and Lord Slavic speaking. She couldn’t believe that Lord Slavic was willing to sacrifice the last Elemental Omni and Zenzar just to release all of his power. She thought that the Omnis’ service meant something to Lord Slavic. Selena looked down. She knew what she had to do.
