Summary

In the poverty-stricken district of a powerful kingdom ruled by the vicious and superior fae, an orphaned Kaith lives peacefully alone with the constant company of the crown prince disguised as a commoner making the hard life worth getting up to in the mornings, especially when things go from bad to worse. Prince Jacques spends his double life genuinely caring for the unfortunate young woman, even as their societal status differences hang above their heads every moment they spend together for it was not acceptable for for fae to mingle with the lowly humans just as the humans are not allowed to fraternize with the fae. Feeling content with her current relationship with the incognito prince, Kaith wanted nothing but the comfort his presence gives her, an escape from the cruel and unfair hands she was dealt with.
