The Bumbling Beginning

Monty was a janitor at the Grand Regal Hotel, a place where opulence and luxury reigned supreme. Unfortunately for Monty, he was notoriously clumsy. If there was a bucket, he would trip over it. If there was a wet floor sign, he would slip near it. His boss, Mr. Scruggs, was perpetually on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of Monty’s antics.

One dreary Monday, Monty stumbled upon a dusty old mop in the basement. This mop looked different, with a golden handle and bristles that shimmered in the light. Without much thought, Monty decided to use it. As soon as he grabbed the handle, the mop sprang to life, twirling and swishing on its own.

Monty stood in awe, watching the mop clean the floor with the grace of a ballroom dancer. The mop swept, mopped, and even polished, all on its own. Monty thought he had hit the jackpot. He could finally relax and let the mop do all the work. What he didn’t realize was that this mop had a mind of its own and a penchant for mischief.

The mop, now free from its dusty prison, decided to explore its new environment. It zoomed down hallways, spun around corners, and even tried to clean a guest’s toupee, mistaking it for a misplaced rug. Chaos ensued as guests shrieked and laughed, and Mr. Scruggs’s face turned a deep shade of crimson.

Isabella: This book is relatively fast paced, good character development & interesting plot. As far as shifter stories go, it’s a little off the ‘norm’.
