Trois-cent-vingt-deux ans après la Grande Guerre, deux Elus sont désignés pour la plus grande quête de la Triade : retrouver Aédé, la Princesse Disparue. Comme chaque année, une fille de Kahara et un garçon d'Obsèl sont choisis, interrogés, puis envoyés au centre de la Triade. De là commence leur voyage afin de réunir les trois pierres, Latia, Dilia et Féria, qui ensemble offrent à leur possesseur un pouvoir illimité, ainsi que l'opportunité de retrouvé Aédé. Jinah, une jeune fille de Kahara qui semble liée à Aédé, se retrouve ainsi embarquée dans la quête, accompagnée de Tan, un garçon d'Obsèl impulsif doté d'une logique implacable. D'abord sceptique, Jinah comprendra bien vite une chose importante : Les légendes dépassent parfois la réalité...
