"This book spoke to me on a very deep, personal, level, and I got the sense that the author was drawing from his own past, allowing us, the readers, to have the privilege of being allowed a peek behind his curtains. It was this that allowed me to be able to easily overlook the few stumbles in grammar and punctuation, it made it a moot point. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading any others by this author. Thank you for sharing yourself with us. Much love, respect, and gratitude 😊"

"Over all I found this to be a very enjoyable story, with relatable characters. It was easy to read and understand. Not to much detail or irrelevant information to wade through, and I loved the way Clair acted at the funeral. Keep writing."

"I cried all the way through this book from the first page to the last. This is the saddest, most heart rendering book I have ever read! I was on a roller-coaster of emotional turmoil, having been molested myself as a child of five. This book is not only filled with answers but with hope of a better tomorrow! Oh wow - a must read!
"This book sent me on a whirl-wind of emotions. It was incredible. After reading the first chapter, I was so hooked, I spent the rest of the day reading it till the end. I love the way you have written it, the snarky and witty way Clair speaks made me laugh and smile occasionally. There are also certain parts that brought tears to my eyes. There's a lot of real emotions in this book and real issues. Clair's childhood made me feel so bad for her and the way her brother treated her was disgusting. Even the way the mother treated her as if it was the poor little girl's fault is even more shocking. While extremely engrossed in your book, I forgot to watch out for grammar and spelling. Which is a first for me, so I commend you on your writing for keeping me focused on your book. I really hope you get this published because it is a must read. "I didn't finish reading this book, I found it dull and boring. The characters didn't seem to have any development or personality, they were simply words on a screen. The story itself lacked any emotion or action. It moved too quickly with no sense of fluency. Maybe it got better the more one read, but I was ⅓ into the story and nothing had happened. Guess I'll never know. Sorry. "
