Chapter 1: Sitting on the Front Porch Step.

On a bright and sunny day in Ironton, a quaint town nestled amidst shaded and gated neighborhoods, a 6-year-old girl named Zoey Kramer sat atop the front porch steps of her home. Beside her, her school backpack and lunchbox lay quietly. Zoey eagerly awaited the moment her older brother, Mark Kramer, would emerge from the front door, ready to accompany her on their walk to school. Zoey had been waiting for him for over an hour, feeling time slow down like honey dripping from a jar. Suddenly, a sleek black 4-door Hyundai Santa Fe appeared, gliding down the street. Behind the wheel was Glen Rogers, navigating the Hyundai Santa Fe with expert ease. As his gaze fell upon her, Zoey Kramer remained perched on the front porch step, a picture of patience and anticipation. Glen made a bold move, driving onto the sidewalk ledge in front of her house. With a smooth motion, he rolled down the driver's side window, breaking the stagnant air with the soft hum of the engine. Glen's gaze was fixed on Zoey, consumed by a series of passionate daydreams about her.

"Little girl, would you come here for a moment?", Glen asked as he was looking at her.

Zoey felt a hint of nervousness creeping in as she recalled the stern warnings from her parents, Sharon and Richard Kramer, about avoiding strangers and their vehicles. Ignoring her school backpack and lunchbox on the front porch, she stood up with determination and set off towards Glen's sleek Black Hyundai Santa Fe. Glen's gaze was fixed on her, his attention divided as he retrieved an item from the center glovebox compartment.

He pulled out a tiny bag of Zoey's beloved M&M's Candy, dangling it enticingly in front of Zoey on the driver's side door.

"Behold, I bring forth a gift for you! I bought this for you do you want it?", Glen asked as he looked at her with his hypnotic eyes.

Zoey gazed at the petite bag of M&M's Candy, gently nodding her head in approval. As Glen gazed at her with a warm smile, he leisurely retrieved the small bag of M&M's from the driver's side door. He carefully placed the items on the front passenger seat.

"Spot it resting casually on the passenger seat, why not take a stroll around the front of the elegant Hyundai Santa Fe? Saunter over to the passenger side door, graciously open it, and elegantly slide into the car.?", Glen asked.

Zoey strolled around to the passenger side door with purpose. She gracefully opened it and slipped into the sleek black Hyundai Santa Fe. The door closed soundlessly behind her as Glen began to drive away from Zoey's home. Meanwhile, Zoey indulged in a handful of colorful M&M's, savoring each sweet bite as the scenery passed by outside. Unbeknownst to her, she was being whisked away in the clutches of kidnapping. Ripped from her parents and older brother.

An hour later, Mark stepped out of the house. He was taken aback to see Zoey's school backpack and lunchbox still sitting there, but his little sister was nowhere to be found. Frantically searching for his little sister, he rushed back into the house and broke the news to their parents, Sharon and Richard, that their precious girl was nowhere to be found. Sharon and Richard were utterly taken aback by the news, prompting them to immediately join Mark in the urgent search for Zoey. Unable to locate her, Sharon and Richard make the decision to involve the authorities by calling the police. Meanwhile, at a suburban house a few blocks down, far from the rumble and roar of the nearby railroad track...,As a neighbor strolled out of his home, he lugged a bulging trash bag. Glancing skyward, he spotted a sleek Black Hyundai Santa Fe cruising along the street. It gracefully parked in the driveway of a house opposite to his own. As he glanced, he noticed the sleek Black Hyundai Santa Fe parked, with its driver's side door ajar. The Neighbor watched attentively as Glen Rogers emerged from the driver's seat, closed the door with a firm push, and proceeded to stroll around the back of the Santa Fe towards the waiting front passenger side door, which he effortlessly swung open. The neighbor witnessed a peaceful scene as a little girl slept in Glen Rogers' arms. With gentle care, Glen carried her from the front porch sidewalk, up the steps, and across the porch. Balancing her delicately, he opened the storm door and then the front door, never once disturbing her slumber. Making their way inside, he secured the door behind them, ensuring their safety and comfort. The neighbor couldn't help but wonder about Glen's intentions towards the young girl.

Meanwhile, Glen Rogers continued carrying Zoey, who was peacefully asleep, in his arms. He carefully moved through the living room, into the kitchen, and past the laundry room. As he reached the front basement door, he placed his hand on the doorknob, turned it, and slowly opened the door to the basement. With deliberate steps, he descended the basement stairs into the dimly lit space below.

Glen gallantly escorted her to a bar stool positioned at the heart of the basement. With a seductive gaze, he lifted her onto the stool, towering above her with eyes full of desire.

"Your beauty radiates like a shimmering diamond, your skin exuding a silky, velvety softness.", Glen said.

With a delicate touch, he began to caress Zoey's velvety skin, watching her intensely with desire blazing in his eyes.

"May I steal a kiss from your lips, my dear? Permission granted?", Glen asked.

He leaned in slowly, drawing closer to Zoey, and began to tenderly kiss her soft lips. The intimate moment stretched on for over an hour, a delicate dance of affection and desire. Eventually, he pulled back, caressing her arms softly as he did so. Glen gazed intently at her. She was destined to be his precious daughter.

Meanwhile, at the Kramer House, a sense of urgency permeated the air as The Police arrived on the scene. Sharon and Richard engaged in a conversation with a Police officer, carefully detailing every aspect of their daughter's appearance and clothing at the time she was last seen. The Police Officer assured them that they would promptly activate an Amber Alert for Zoey. To further ensure Zoey's safety, The Police went as far as wiring the phone in anticipation of a potential call from Zoey's Kidnapper demanding ransom. Sharon and Richard went so far as to make a televised plea on the news. Instructing the kidnapper to refrain from causing harm to Zoey or committing any acts of abuse against her.

Roughly an hour passed without any ransom demands. Sharon, consumed by worry, cautiously stepped into Zoey's bedroom. Seated at the edge of the bed, tears streaming down her face, she longed for her little girl. That's when Mark entered the room, catching sight of his mother in distress.

"Mother, I deeply apologize for not stepping out of the house. I should have protected Zoey.", Mark said until Sharon looked at her oldest son with love in her eyes after drying her tears.

"Mark, it's not your fault. You have done nothing wrong.", Sharon replied.

Without realizing that Richard was outside the bedroom watching them, Mark and Sharon embraced each other in a warm hug. After enjoying a satisfying dinner, they retired to bed for the night.

The morning after, a mysterious letter arrived at the Police Department, leaving the officers in a state of astonishment. To their amazement, it was a message from Glen Rogers, the kidnapper of Zoey Kramer. The officers eagerly ripped open the envelope, extracted the letter, and delved into its contents.

"A message to the Ironton Police Department: I am in possession of the charming and endearing little girl, Zoey Kramer. Her angelic presence fills my heart with immense affection. I am aware of the deep yearning her parents have for her safe return; however, I am resolute in my decision to retain her in my care and will not relinquish her. As I cruised down the street in the sleek Black Hyundai Santa Fe, a striking scene caught my eye: a solitary figure standing at the street corner. Without hesitation, I steered the car towards the edge of the pavement, brought the Black Hyundai Santa Fe to a gentle halt, and alighted from the driver's seat, gracefully swinging open the door. With purpose, I made my way over to her, concern in my voice as I inquired about her well-being. As our eyes met, she returned my gaze with a radiant smile, tiny arms reaching out towards me. Without delay, I lifted her up and cradled her in my tender embrace, feeling her relax and settle comfortably in my arms. Carrying her gently in my arms, I made my way back to my sleek Black Hyundai Santa Fe. Slowly, I opened the door to the back seat and carefully settled her in. Wrapping her in a cozy blanket from the back seat, she gazed at me with a radiant smile. I ran my fingers through her silky shoulder-length brown hair, closed the back seat door, took my place in the driver's seat, and drove off into the night. I escorted her to my home, guiding her through the threshold. I offered her some food and began softly petting her back as she enjoyed her dinner, gradually building trust and creating a sense of ease in our bond. I assured her that I would cherish and care for her deeply, promising to shower her with love and affection. After she finished eating, she desired my embrace. I lifted her up and cradled her in my arms. As she nestled into the curve of my arms, she began to unwind and let go of all tension. She nestled close to me, wrapping her tiny arms around my neck, resting her head gently on my chest. With eyes slowly closing, she drifted into a peaceful slumber, a picture of pure contentment. I encouraged her to envision a dream where we embraced, hands intertwined, racing towards a meadow bursting with vibrant, colorful flowers. Picture us sitting beneath a lush canopy of leaves, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. As sunlight filters through the branches, I delicately gather a handful of vibrant flowers to craft a beautiful crown for her. Gently, I place the fragrant crown upon her head, transforming her into a forest queen.", The letter rambled on endlessly, sending The Police into a state of shock as they uncovered further unexpected events.
