Moonlight Sonata - B
Moonlight Sonata - B
The ever present sunlight invaded his view. Like a slap in the face that shuts you up and makes you think, “What next?”
How could nothing like this ever come to pass again? He delved into the sunlight and took a good long look at it, he would probably never see it again. The pain of the reality which was stabbing his psyche and his eyes was unbearable. He took it all in and swallowed the agony of the unknown which was soon to engulf every fiber of his being.
What comes next?
The unknown is something to be feared and embraced, for what other choice do we have? None whatsoever, only the choice of fear which is just too dreadful to contemplate or chew upon. I do not wish this on anyone, but everyone at some point has to meet the dark abyss. Everyone loses their virginity to this unknown and unforgiving entity or being or truth or nothingness.
And yet there is a certain beauty in the inevitable and unforeseeable future which lies ahead. Embrace it all and be brave, as brave as you can, and take it all in. It is a scary prospect but rest assured, this will put you at ease, you may well be unconscious and the pain will not be felt, or perceived or talked about. Only the living have that privilege and the possibility is that you will not even ponder the inevitable for you will have come to the end, or so we hope. The future is uncertain and yet we strive to reach it and we never can, the future is always ahead of us. Even though it doesn’t exist it is always ahead of us. It is of our creation and in this realm we must respect the fallacy which faces us daily. But the bliss awaits, the bliss of the end which will be sooner rather than later.
