The Waves

Every tuesday me and my friend Jenni go for a night time walk in our neighborhood to relax and bitch about our day to day life. I always love walking on the beach so I can feel the waves crash over my toes and pull away.I always push them deep into the sand catch myself digging my toes down then pull them out. The waves come and crash on my feet and I feel one with myself.

As I get up to Jenni’s door she comes stummbling out with a handful of beers and is bitching to her boyfriend Toni to lock the gate so her golden retriver lilly didnt get out Jenni has been with Toni for almost five years now. Jenni comes stumbling up to me at least two beers deep at this point. Jenni is going on about how her boss is constantly cutting her hours at her waitress job. This is her fourth new job this year alone. Man I feel so bad for her but i constantly say to myself “maybe you should show up on time”. I just want to yell it at her sometimes. Not to shame her but just to tell her thats why she can’t keep any of these jobs. As for me i like to think i live a decently quiet life I go to my Nine to five boring job mondays through fridays and collect money at the bank. Yes its a boring day to day but i go and it pays my bills.

I dont have many friends but jenni has been the one who knows everything. When i say everything i remember calling her my first period, my first time i had sex shoot she seen the first boy i kissed. Jenni knows im really shy when it comes to guys shes always asking me if i met someone. My favorite is when she trys to set me up.that has wirked so well everytime. I tell her im waiting fir simeone to notice me first. I want to be wanted. Jenni doesnt understand shes so tall and tan and has the longest jet black hair that falls right to her waistand brown eyes that was al,ost amber. She wears shorts that her butt always pops out the bottom and crop tops that show her ribs. My friend is the hottest 23 year old in our small town. She has never had a issue having a boy want her. Me hannah on the other hand im 23 short amd so pale. For living on a lake you would think i could at least get a little tanner. Red hair that was wavy and glasses that take up my whole face othr then my blue eyes. My eyes are the thing i like the most about myself.

As me and jenni are walking around we stummble up to the park, I sit down on the swings and reach into my pocket and grab out a joint I rolled earlier in the morning I had about six on me. I dont drink often but i do enjoy to smoke. I light her up and start pumping my legs. As I swing higher and higher my adult worries are slowly drifting away. I was just looking into the clouds when i hear Hannah! Hannah wanna go to the beach? Jenni knew how i felt about the beach. I jumped off the swing and she said here you have to take this first. She hands me a tiny glass bottle with green letters on it. I knew she had tequila. I opened it and threw my head back and down it went and the burn that followed was the reason i don’t drink often.

Is that Jenni Turner? Me and jenni turned around quick to see Carter Thomas. Cater was always one of the cutest boys in our school. He stood at at least 6 feet tall. My head was to the top of his shoulders as he was standing next to me and Jenni. His Dark curly hair was tucked into his baseball cap. He was still so cute. Hey Hannah. How have you ladies been? Its been a few years! Jenni answered for both of us super busy, you know same shit different day. Where have you been? Carter looked at me I was very timid becuase I was smoking and drinking and something about Carter had my Heart instantly Beating faster, my ears was a little hot too. Then I noticed I was doing it agian. Stareing right at him. I felt like I couldnt pull my eyes. Carter was talking about how he was gone for two years moved to chicago to be closer to his mother while she was passing. I never knew of him to be sensitive or anything other then a jock. After my mothers passing I decided to come move back home.

I knew he was going through a lot but he seemed like he needed to talk more. Jenni and I was just about too go to the beach if you want to join us? Carter said I love the beach its my special place. As soon as he said that i felt my ears go hot agian. Carter Said I do have some drinks at my house let me grab them I live across the street. Ill meet you guys there. Jenni said make sure you go to seceret beach! Carter yelled got it! and was doing this goofy skip jog thing from thr park. Jenni grabs me and oulls my face to her and whispers tell me he isnt the most delicious thing. I giggled and pushed my hair bak behind my ear. Yeah carter is something. I think he was liking you! Did you see the way he made eye contact with you? He was smiling, girl just talk to him more when we get to the beach.

Me and jenni started off towards the beach I stuck my hand into my pocket and grabbed out another joingt and sparked it. I felt so much better. I breathed the smoke deeo into my lung and big slow exahales. I said to jenni as i kicked off my flip flops. Even if he doesnt like me like that I think hes a good guy. I can hear foot steps in the distance. My heart is racing thinking about carter. Secert beach is known for all sorts of sketchy things, sex,drugs,booze you name it. This beach is so small that it only holds maybe 5 people at one time because the rocks and sand have taken it back over. Carter pops out threw the brush at the top of the hill hello ladies.

I sat down on the rock as i felt like things was starting to spin. Carter came over and sat next to me on the rock and said mind if i sit here. This rock was a tight sit my legs was touching his so we could both fit. Jenni was spinning on the beach in the distance. Carter and I got lost talking and I looked up from my gaze at the water and jenni was splashing in the water it looked like so much fun. I must of said that out loud because carter leaned into me and pressed his nose to my cheek and whispered then go play in the water. I felt my thighs tighen and wetness slowly leaked onto my painties. I jumped up off the rock and ran towards jenni splashing in the water. I looked back and carter was laughing. I couldnt wait to jenni about carter as I get close to jenni in the water she whispers you should fuck him.
