No ones charm
"Good good, im still reeling. Its been days. All i can think is why? Her whole life.. 16yo.. and for what. A reason to attack. Still speelbound."
One of the best plots ever written down.
"Loved the plot. Everyone in love with dystopia must read. Also, the rating is deserved by the book."
I'm... amazed! Genuinely amazed!
"Well, I’m about two thirds through the first chapter and… It’s awesome. It’s possibly worth mentioning that it’s perhaps not the type of book I’d usually read but even so, I’m hooked. The humour, the colourful nature of the story (quite literally) is really enrapturing and all of the characters so far are brilliant characters and very clear and well written. There’s also no “Information Overload”, It’s all very well written and all flows amazingly well, you've used the characters 1st person incredibly. If I had to nick-pick then maybe the chapters (or at least the first one) is/are a little lengthy. I certainly don’t think anything needs to be taken out but maybe just divide up the chapters a bit more. Beyond that I’m honestly struggling to find ‘bad points’ and even the chapter length might be a bit of a push. It is a really well written, really entertaining book and I can’t wait to know what’s going to happen next (in a genre that I really wasn’t much interested in until now. You’ve hooked outside your genre, that takes skill!) Really well done! Also, a side note. I’ve already recommended this book to a friend of mine who’s much more into this genre than I am and I know she’ll love it, THAT’S how well you’ve done."
Well done

Potential
"As a lover of dystopian novels and a member of this book's target audience, No One's Charm was a captivating read! The use of charms is something unique that I haven't seen before, and the characters are filled with life and relateability for the reader. The dialogue you used has humor, and the scenes you have are all there for a reason! The grammar can always be improved (I always recommend reading a manuscript out loud) , but this book's got potential!"
No Ones Charm
"It's an interesting concept, shapes are used to define a person, and who their match will be. Your characters are witty, and a few times I found myself laughing. I'm not quite finished with it. It gets a little slow and there are quite a few mistakes that I kept getting hung up on, which makes it hard to read at times. For the most part though the writing flows well, particularly with the dialog. Way to many exclamation points and bold drawn out words that are unnecessary particularly in the first chapter (Which I'm not gonna lie, it almost made me stop reading it) it gets a little excessive. I totally like the idea you have and you have a lot of potential, so keep writing and challenging yourself. Well done!"
exclusively 'charming'
"What I love about this novel is the whole concept that really creates a foundation for this story. The idea of charms being able to tell your future, who you match with, your abilities etc is a scary but intriguing thought. I also really love the idea of having the surface and the sky worlds. the juxtaposition between the two is quite interesting (reminds me somewhat of Bioshock Infinite). The characters are enjoyable, and I cannot deal with the cuteness of Mocha the dove. To make your writing better, I would suggest that you look back and have a quick look at the punctuation. The use of excessive exclamations eg !!!!!!!!, !?!??, or ........ isn't really needed. Having one exclamation is enough to make a character exclaim quite loudly. It simply just makes it easier for the audience to read more smoothly. Overall, I fell in love with the concept of the story and you should be proud of your achievements. This was a wonderful read. "
Fun story!
"I actually remember reading this the first time you posted it, so it was really fun to read it again once there was more to it. I still like the idea of the charms and of the people who live in cities high above the ground. Your characters are interesting, amusing, and easy to support. Your dialogue never fails to make me chuckle. I don't remember a lot of chapter two being there when I first read it, and I think it's really cool that you show us both worlds, the one above and the one below. There is a lot of mystery in your story, and you kept me curious. I do have to say though, I think the writing needs to be tightened in order to help with pacing. The story moves kind of slowly to me, and I think it would have more draw if you tightened it and made it more fast-paced. Also, in the title I think you want an apostrophe so that it reads "No One's Charm". All in all though, it's a great start, and I think it has a lot of potential. Great work!"
No One's Charm
"No Ones Charms KitKit – I tiptoed my way through your enthusiastic manuscript. It took me no time at all to accept it was written for a generation far removed from the antiquity in which I survive. A brilliant effort on your part – brisk, strong and bursting with ideas that defy my imagination. I was wary from the start of the inattention to the grammar and punctuation; starting with your title - ‘No Ones Charm’ which lacked the ever important apostrophe S. This prominent S did not want for company as throughout your ten chapters I questioned myself whether the bulk of these typing errors was intentional on your part. Your futuristic plot could go anywhere in this world of fantasy; a product of your sharp imagination. I don’t understand your continual use of upper case to create an impression. I feel it isn’t needed. Your words and dialogue do their work well. I always find it better to leave the readers to read. Let them do the work. I suggest you tidy up the grammar and you are well on the way to a good result. Stay with this. You have youth on your side."
