Odin's Eyes || Jikook

The headphones were on. Jimin could hear his mother screaming in the background, but could not understand exactly what it was. That’s why he put them on. He knew his mother would come into his room at any time. His mother entered his room and Jimin took off his headphones.

"Jimin, I- I have to tell you something. I did everything to make him accept your choices." said his mother in a depressing voice.

"He didn’t accept it? He wants to sell me to another pack for a stupid alliance?! I am the only omega male and he deprives me of my rights! I must remain submissive and obey his orders. as he did with you!"

"The Lee pack was the only option for you. Lee Haneul will be your future mate. Jimin, you must accept otherwise."

"Otherwise what? He will torture me?! Sexually harass me?! He had no option! It was already chosen, even though they are barbaric.. Dad only wanted money!" said Jimin, screaming.

"Shh, your father can listen at any time?!" I know they are barbaric, but the choice is already made..."

Jimin’s father suddenly enters the room. Both looked at the alpha with a frightened face.

"What are you up to? mmm? I heard everything, yes I did it for the money! You are my only son to be an omega, so I take this opportunity to sell you to the Lee pack! You will be useful for once!"

"YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR MY OPINION! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE MY OWN CH—"

Jimin felt a pinch on his cheek and then a heat. The omega could not do anything at this time, if he disobeyed.. his father raised his hand on him.

"HOW DARE YOU SHOUT AT ME!" YOU ARE A WEAK OMEGA, OMEGAS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND OBEY THEIR ALPHA!"

The alpha leaves the room, leaving the two omega alone. Jimin sobs in silence, he did not want to make any noise. The smell of lavender was present in the room and then he felt arms on him. Jimin takes his mother in his arms and hugs her tightly against him.

"I'm sorry... I may have a solution, but it's going to take a lot of days."

“Several days?” Says Jimin a little confused

"Yes, this pack is from the north."

“From the north? But why do I have to go there?”

“Seduces the Alpha and asks for his help.”

“Seduce? Really mom? You know dad’s going to declare war… my so-called mate, what is he going to do?"

“I know.. and that’s why you have to go to the Jeon pack, otherwise Haneul will use you as his object and he absolutely wants an heir.”

After hearing this, Jimin absolutely did not want to be in this pack. Nausea was present, the smell of sour vanilla was present in the room. The omega shakes its head and trembles with fear. He didn’t want to be an object with these disgusting wolves or be used as a machine to make thousand pups. He looks at his mother with a determined face and accepts his mother’s request.

"When do I have to leave?"

”Tomorrow. I’ll give you my pelts and a tunic to keep you warm. This pack is traditional, they will be more comfortable with you if you wear clothes like them.”

“umm okay?, how do you have all that? I’ve never seen you wear it.

“That’s true, but you will know one day, when the time comes, all the questions you ask yourself will be answered,” said his mother, smiling.

Jimin looks at his mother with a confused face, he smiles and gets ready to go to bed. Tomorrow will be a great day, so the omega takes a deep breath to calm his heartbeat and closes his eyes.

Sunlight plunges into the curtains, the omega blinks to get used to the clarity. He stretches and then gets up to go take a hot shower. When Jimin returns to his room, he notices the fur and tunic already close on the edge of the bed. He sighs and he goes to join Hoseok.

“Hoseok, I need your help,” said Jimin as he walked into hoseok’s office.

"Good morning to you, how can I help you?"

"You must help me to prepare Balthus, and I will need some herbs in case of wounds and infections."

"All right, I will help you, but on one condition, if you tell me where you are going."

“I have to go north, where the Jeon pack is hosting… Lee Haneul should be here in a few hours, I have to run away from this mansion and I promise I’ll get you out of here!”

"The Jeon Pack? Why them?" Ask Hoseok a little confused.

“They can help me get out of this prison, if I mate with the Head Alpha.. My father will have to cancel the marriage with Haneul. If my mother offered it to me, there must be a reason for that.” Says Jimin smiling.

“I trust you, come back soon! Balthus will be ready when you arrive and take this with you.”

Hoseok hands him a book, Jimin observes the book and opens to see inside.

“ The encyclopedia of medicinal herbs? Why are you giving me this? Hoseok you need it more than me!”

"No, take it! I know all my herbs! Let’s eat together!"

“and Balthus? Ho—”

“Haerin will take care of him! I must go eat lunch with my best friend before he leaves for his journey!” said the omega, laughing.

The two omega come down to eat their breakfast. Jimin listens to Hoseok’s stories with a big smile, all this, he will miss but he is sure that  Moon Goddess will be with him throughout his journey so he knows that everything will be fine.. he hopes. and he trusts it. He does not need to worry, he will come back with his alpha and get Hoseok and his mother out of this prison! Jimin picks up the dishes  and goes upstairs to prepare, he looks carefully at the fur and tunic; the fur is brown and white like of a deer and the tunic is black with gold ornaments. He puts them on and looks at himself in the mirror. He puff his chest and nods, he is ready to go!

As Hoseok promised, Balthus his stallion is ready. Jimin smiles then looks at his mother, the little omega takes his mother in his arms and smells for the last time the scent of lavender

“Mom, take care of you. I will come back to get you out.” Says Jimin with a trembling voice.

"Don’t worry about me! I can take care of myself, my son is strong, you are strong, I know you will succeed." Said his mother, caressing his face.

“Mother.”

“Oh, I almost forgot! Take this with you, it will serve you in the forest.”

His mother hands him an archers kit. Since he was a little boy, he has been training in this field. He accepts his mother’s gift and wears it with pride.

“Thank you, mother.”

Jimin gets on his horse and goes towards the forest. In the world where rogues dominate the forest, Jimin must have eyes around his head if he wants to stay alive he will have to fight to gain his territory. The little omega hears a stream not very far from them, so it advances towards the noise and stops in front. He got off his horse to drink water. Fascinated by the beauty of the forest, he felt at peace and relaxed. No screaming or crying. Just him, the forest and the sound of birds. The sun begins to set, Jimin takes a deep breath and aims at the deer with his arrow. The arrow pierces the animal’s body and Jimin follows the deer until it is weakened. He returns to his camp with the beast and prepares the meat for grilling in the fire. With a full belly, the little omega lies down in his sleeping bag and looks at the starry sky.

The little omega wakes up with the crows singing around him. Jimin sits down and stares at a crow that is right in front of him.

“Moon Goddess, did you really send me a sign?' said Jimin, sighing.

Jimin gets up, picks up his sleeping bag, archer’s kit and climbs on Balthus. He continues straight ahead following some crows. A few hours later, Jimin stops to take a break and stretch. The icy wind, the omega looks at the sky and some flakes fall on the tip of his nose.

“It’s a sign that I’m in the North! Thank you Moon Goddess! I knew I could trust you!” said Jimin with a smile.

Worrying in his thoughts, Jimin does not realize that there is something observing him. This thing observed all the movements that the omega made, Jimin turned after feeling a presence near him.

The Great Alpha doesn't exist, they said. They are the stuff of legend and people’s imagination but Jimin couldn’t believe his eyes. The Great Alpha was right in front of him, the golden eyes looking at him, mesmerized by his eyes. The omega was approaching the Alpha but it growled towards Jimin. He stops abruptly and raises his hands in submission.

“I-I need to go to the Jeon pack, do you know if i'm in the right direction?”

The Alpha didn’t respond, it was just looking at the omega, ready to attack if he did something.

“Right.. well I guess I’m gonna leave, sorry to bother you Great Alpha”

Jimin turns around and climbs his horse but before moving on, he notices a raven, it takes off and shows the way to Jimin. He turns his head where the Alpha is, but he is not there anymore; he shrugs his shoulders and follows the raven.
