Chapitre 1
Prologue
— Victoria!! Victoriaaa!!!! What the hell are you doing??
I turned to my mother the moment she opened the door.
— Yes? Mother, I'm up, what's wrong with you calling me so early? I asked her while rolling my eyes.
She gave me a look that meant "don't roll your eyes at your mother" and as she was about to speak a loud crash was heard from the living room. My mother hurriedly closed the door to my room and pushed me right up against my bookcase and activated a mechanism that opened it, pushed me inside and hurriedly told me in a low voice.
— Listen to me carefully, no matter what happens, no matter what you're going to hear, don't leave from here for at least a week. — I don't have a daughter, I've never had a child. My eyes opened in shock at this revelation, but I heard her ask him.

He said while starting to laugh demonically, that I got scared and I backed away from the trapdoor without knowing how to react except for one thing but who is my father then? If the one I knew wasn't.
Suddenly, I heard my mother answer him in a voice that seemed to be muffled.
— You'll never find her!! Never!! You hear me I would rather die than tell you anything and believe me if you kill me you will regret it all your life. If you kill me now you will end up dying slowly because I am your true companion my dear little wolf. With these words she began to laugh but a laugh that contained all her sadness, her distress, and also her resignation in the face of death.
I heard a loud growl and a crack followed by a boom like a body falling to the ground.
— Search everywhere in the whole house, find her and take her away!! I heard him scream, and I could hear the pain in his voice at having lost his companion.

I didn’t dare breathe until several hours later when there was no more noise. I let myself fall onto the camp bed that was in the room where I was hiding and began to cry so much that sleep overcame me and I fell asleep hiccuping.
