Prologue
The history of Ocean View Mackenzie
Ocean view Mackenzie was founded by scientologist Daniel Mackenzie in the year 1705. He believed that school should be a place where the younger generation needs to be able to find themselves and learn in an environment that teaches them about very day life. He understood that the world is full of topics, people and places that you are most likely to come across and therefore should be exposed to it beforehand. The existing facts about life would be included, both negative and positive. Students of all ages, sizes, level of intelligence, religion, color ext., are to be accepted. No one was to be discriminated.
When he thought of this great change he was about to bring upon the world, he proposed his thesis’ to several other founders of the school, who were also well known believers in scientology. These were Gerald Hornsby, Toby Finn and Harlot Tabby. They came together once they heard of Donald’s ideas and soon found themselves on board. However when Ocean View was in the process of being built Daniel had his own doubts that this school was not going to work. He therefore gave up on his own project and allowed the others to continue. After years of planning, contacting, designing and building, Ocean View was finally formed.
When the time came to name it, Donald coincidentally came back and announced that he was going to continue with the project along with the rest of the team. His reasoning was that he had a dream several nights ago, showing him how successful is school is going to be in the future and showed him all the benefits that this success would bring him. These benefits included wealth, fame, and Happiness. He woke up with a fright and on that very same night travelled back to Sanny Savita to finish off what he started.
To his surprise, his fellow team members welcomed him back with open arms. So much so, that they decided to name the school after him. Over the years Ocean View has housed over millions of students who share the same curiosity that the word has sprung upon them and learnt about unusual subjects that would otherwise not be taught at normal school. Unfortunately Daniel Mackenzie died in the year 1995, from frost bite during his eight hour swim in the Ocean that lies next to the school. Soon after his death, the remaining founders honored Daniel with a silver granite plank, in memoriam to the great work that he did over the years. This plank can still be seen hanging proudly above his desk, inside the very first office of ocean view. When the rest of the founders finally passed away from unknown causes their children would take over and uphold their family’s legacy and run their school with great pride and dignity.
