Poems for The one who broke my heart

To the guy who broke my heart,

I thought we would never part,

But you tore my world apart,

Leaving me with a shattered start.

I cried and cried, feeling so low,

Lost in pain, nowhere to go,

But slowly I began to grow,

Stronger than I thought I'd know.

I learned to love myself again,

To heal the wounds and ease the pain,

To stand tall through the pouring rain,

And find happiness once again.

So thank you for the lessons learned,

For the strength that in me burned,

For the love that I have earned,

To the guy who broke my heart, I have finally turned
