The Artifact.

Yuto observes the outside with careful intent.

"Yuto! Get to work! Remember that you have 10 assignments due from last week.”

”Huh? Oh, yeah whatever Mrs. Wood I just want this week over with.”

"Your weekend will probably be filled with homework anyways..”

”Shut up woman! Your pissing me off! Damn!”

”DETENTION!”  

“fine, im leaving anyways. Tch”

Hours later, Yuto proceeds to walk home and attempts his studies.

“Man its like 9 PM I hate studying dude. Id rather fucking jump off a cliff right now, atleast before my death it'd be fun, fuck it, im going to bed.”

Yuto lays on his bed and finds himself unable to fall asleep, yet, hours later he hears a weird but malevolent sounding voice. Yuto leaves to investigate the noise. He walks out the door and follows the voice into a forest where he finds the Artifact.

"Hey, what is this thing??? Its glowing purple its mad creepy. Wait, maybe its rare and I can sell it and become rich! Hell yeah!"

Yuto’s hand goes closer and closer and then it starts sucking him in.

"Wait. HEY!! HELP!!"

Yuto is now fully appeared in a purple void seeing a huge figure before him

"Huh? Who are you a Genie??"

"I thought I had to rub the damn lamp not get pulled in.”

Yuto replies.

“Quiet, I am The Wrath of Persuasion. But you can call me The Artifact. I get hosted by any human of my choice and I chose you, my ability is to manipulate people to do whatever my host or myself chooses, however usually I let my host do everything and let things-- play out Anyways, I can kill, become rich, not that im interested in any of that, or etc.”

"So like, why did you choose me?"

”You seem like you have decent potential, I've already merged with you so you can do as you please but one day I must make your end. Ofcourse this can be avoided if you simply donnot use The Artifact Yuto is sent back to the forest

“So I have the ability to do anything…? Sweet!”

days go by and Yuto decides to use his ability to eliminate villains, corrupt people and such, people begin to catch on and call him Misuteri or Mystery in Japanese.
