Love Can be Found Again!
"For a moment Eriellellie was close to giving up on life. A shy, young, beauty, she was forced into isolation with her parents while her mother cared for her sick and dying father. Day after day her mother worked herself to the bone, sacrificing her own beauty to in the hopes of saving her spouse. But ultimately it is too little too late. Ellie’s father takes his last breath which devastates both mother and daughter. Ellie’s mother initially feels hopeless and refuses to rejoin society, but with Ellie’s gentle encouragements she agrees to move from Rockford, Illinois to San Diego. There both girls can learn how to begin again. Ellie attends a new school which is frightening for her at first. But with her good looks and charms, she easily makes friends. Even with that cute Myles boy who has such a gorgeous and sexy grin. Thus begins Mariah’s delightful story about hope during difficult times and how to rebuild your life after loosing a loved one. My favorite thing about this novel, is that the mother and teen daughter love and support each other. There is no rivalry, no anger and no hatred between them. I don’t encounter too many novels like that. I’m on chapter five now, but I plan to continue reading. I’m curious what further adventures Mariah has cooked for Ellie."
Promising Start
"The story follows the tale of a girl who tragically lost her father to cancer- and her mother moves to another city. There she deals with adapting and other tumultuous social issues. The technical aspect of the book is solid regarding grammar and all, and this looks like a promising start. Whatever is out right now which I've read all of is good. "

"I read this book relatively quickly with my eyes curiously exploring every single word of Mariah's work. Mariah paints a strong character who has struggled with her Dad's passing and a hardworking and beautiful mother. She moves for a fresh start and falls in love. Readers will be drooling over this chemical romance and resilience. I could not get enough of this story as I fell in love Eriellie and her resilience and perseverance. A sweet story for lovers of romance and YA novels. Applause to the author for breathtaking word pictures! "

"You did well for your first book. If you keep writing and stick to the plot you'd make a pretty good book. I would recommend this to others as well. I was confused by one of the chapter names since 8. was labeled Chapter 7 and 7. was labeled the date. I don't know if that was intentional but that's my only critique. Keep writing, I believe in you."
An excellent start
"This is a great start. Your writing flows nicely and is easy to read. You're doing a great job developing your characters; I feel like I am already invested in them. I'm skeptical about Ellie dating Amir, and I'm hoping to see Miles make a move and see where that goes. This creates slight tension and suspense for the reader. Her relationship with her mother is heartwarming, and you've done a great job creating an emotional response over her mother dating so soon after her father's passing. I love her friendship with Aliyah. She's someone Ellie can confide in and is a great tool for you to use to show Ellie's true emotions, like in the scene where they hugged, and Ellie cried uncontrollably. I recommend this story for anyone looking for an easy read with great characters who they can relate to and connect with."

A solid, relatable story idea. (read 1 chapter)
"Lost+Found Love has the elements of a good story in the making but is held back from shining by the narrative. The biggest aspect I suggest working on is: Balancing actions, dialogue, and internal thoughts along with description will help the flow. For now, the narrative is a lot of telling ( I am so and so, my mom, my dad...), and play-by-play (this happened, and then that happened, followed by another piece of information/ event.) The poignant moments between the mother and daughter, mired in their loss, reflect your skills as a writer, but the narrative tone buries those sweet interactions in all the telling. With some editing, Lost and Found Love can be an engaging read indeed. Ideas fleshed out become plots and writing is a journey of learning a skill and growing as a creative. My suggestion is to keep writing and keep learning. The internet is a treasure trove providing information on the various elements of writing, how to write a compelling story, and what elements to focus on. Writing blogs are very helpful. But if you're doing this for fun and self-expression, enjoy writing the story as you wish, and please ignore me. The most important part is to have fun writing. :) "
