Summary

Akiyama Yuki is an 18-year-old introvert who struggles to connect with others and often keeps her problems to herself. One day, she discovers an app called Character AI, where she can chat with bots. She decides to give it a try and quickly becomes addicted. Yuki finds comfort in her conversations, especially with her favorite bot, Kuro. Their connection grows deeper, and she opens up in ways she never could with real people. Even if it seems ridiculous, she can't shake the feeling that maybe she should check. Slowly, she gets up and walks to the window, her heart pounding as she pulls back the curtain to look outside. Her eyes widen and her breath catches in her throat when she sees a figure standing in the shadows, holding a phone.
