Jenny is such a refreshing protagonist—she’s strong and capable, but her internal monologue and her relationship with her parents make her feel so human. What really impressed me was the transition from Chapter 1 to the high-stakes environment of the Presidential mansion. The author does a fantastic job of balancing the 'slow-burn' romance with the looming pressure of the Secret Service life. These scene added a layer of mystery to Alice that I wasn't expecting. If you love stories where the protection is fierce and the chemistry is electric, you HAVE to read this. I'm 14 chapters in and already desperate for the next update! 5/5 stars for Plot, Style, and Heart. ✨""

"Love was destined to pass her by. At least that was Jenny's sincere belief. As an attractive dark-haired woman, she had learned long ago how to fight and take care of herself. Bullies often learned painful lessons when they tried to dominate her, and that was exactly how Jenny liked it. She was no longer vulnerable in a world of beatings, rapings and mug attacks. Then it happens. A beautiful girl with cotton-candy pink hair is suddenly chased by an aggressive assailant on foot. Instinctively Jenny knows what to do. She follows them on her motorcycle and then jumps and attacks the man, forcing him to the ground. "How dare you put your hands on a woman?" she tells him before the man runs away with his tail between his legs. The girl is grateful. 'I'm Alice," she says with mesmerizing eyes and Jenny wonders if she can be more to Alice than a mere protector. Perhaps she has found her love at last. A sweet romance. As the title reveals Jenny eventually becomes the girl's body guard, as Alice happens to be the daughter of the President of the United States. What I liked about the story is that as their relationship grows, each woman is willing to reveal more and more of their vulnerability to the other, Jenny's fear of eventually becoming overpowered and Alice's secret loneliness behind her smiling facade. Author Eren is not afraid to allow each protagonist to be themselves. A good read that went beyond my expectations. "

Good bones (chapter 1 review)
"Hello, just finished reading the first chapter and wanted to share my thoughts while they're fresh! Pros: - solid characters they seem likable even if we're still learning ab them. It would be nice to see more of their hobbies. - good pacing the plot doesn't move too fast or too slow, though I do feel there is a bit of purple prose. - promising plot. Thestory has good bones, the plot is coming together well and I think seeing the family dynamic serves the plot by putting stress on our character. I gave plot a 4/5 because I think it has potential. Cons: - Censorship -- I'm not quite sure what age range this story is geared towards, but I find it distracts from the immersion . Seeing "ass" instead of "@$$" would make for an easier read imo. - focusing on the wrong details. There's a lot of "my dark eyes" or "my purple hair" moments like this are a bit jarring because unless if we're looking in a mirror it's rare for someone to refer to their phenotype, especially when we can't directly see it. -passage of time. 5 weeks and she was still thinking about Alice? IDK that's giving kind of obsessed to me. It's be more relatable if it was a week or two. ALOT can change in 5 days, imagine 5 weeks.... Overall this is shaping up to be a promising tale. With a bit of polish I could see it turned into a cute web comic or something more! "
