" Julia, let's take ours to our home for dinner tonight to meet our family, friends, and employees. We know a little bit about them in their essays they wrote about themselves." " Cindy, since it's a nice day, we can barbecue. We already have steaks marinating to make carnitas. Alice and Tim are making the beans and Spanish rice. Peter said he would grill the steak and corn. The others are bringing everything else. I feel we have it covered."
We filled out our preferences of gender who we wanted to mentor. Our two youths were a lesbian and the other had some surgeries done to be a female. One was going through transgender procedure but stopped because it was expensive. Our employees at the clinic with his parents' permission was going to allow our employees to finish him becoming a female. He went through the psychological exams and interview and passed it. His name is Jaime, and he was still going to be a Jaime but a female. This was an agreement with his parents per his essay.
Cindy would be mentoring Jaime Cabrera. The gal I was going to mentor was named Alexa Nunez. They found us about an hour and a half into the conference. We watched them mingle with other adults and youth attending the conference. From Cindy and my observations as we spoke with other youth and adults, they appeared to be shy somewhat. We both were familiar with being shy. It took us many years for us to overcome being shy.
We went outside of the main area and sat out on the grass with our lunch.

" Cindy and would like to take you to our home for a barbecue with our employees, family and friends who live on our property. Please call your parents that we will take you to your homes, so you can get a change of clothes to go horseback riding. We wouldn't want your goo's clothes to get ruined. Please let them know you will be able to take a shower at our home. Your parents will need to sign a release to allow to ride our thoroughbred horses. They are very calm. We have neighbors who are elderly who ride them as often as they can. They ride them more than Cindy, and I do. We will provide you with a helmet that must be worn. We saw you both know how to ride and live outdoors activities. "
They said they would. They had several questions, especially Jaime.Cindy explained to her that we owned several clinics and had excellent plastic surgeons. Cindy, nor I wouldn't be the doctors doing her surgery but would be present if she and her parents requested one or both. They asked me why I stopped being a plastic surgeon, and I was honest. I did tell them I keep my license current and still do surgeries if my services are needed. Otherwise, I oversee two hotels. We finished our lunch and tossed everything in the trash can outside. They still didn't know my wife used to be a man. Cindy would tell Jaime when she felt it was the right time.We all went to the restroom before joining all the others. We all played games to get to know one another. They called their parents. We left with them in our two trucks. We would be going in bad areas of Seattle. We didn't want our two mentees to be harrassed because of our wealth.
