The author has such a way with words, I could picture the whole Realm so clearly And the love between Evie and Bastian, it was beautiful to see them grow together. Love is transformation and heartbreak in equal measure
"I have hesitated in writing this review because I did not read this story in the normal Inkitt way - but rest assured I have traveled the road with Evie and Bastion and have been there for every victory and stumble along the way. I watched Evie as she started alone amongst a group of people not knowing who to trust with the biggest secret of her life - the fact that she could not remember who she was. I watched how eventually those people she had kept at arms length accepted her, embraced her, made her feel safe and eventually allowed her to let down the walls and let them in. I watched her grow and become a formidable warrior and I watch the relationship between her and Bastion step from quiet defiance into passion and beauty. Every word of this story was a spell cast by the author that pulled me deeper into the mystery and the magnificence of this world. We say of places "It's a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there" Well this is just the opposite - I would pack my Uhaul and start driving tonight if I could live in this world. Even with the danger that lurks around every corner - there is the comfort of good friends, the loyalty of comrades and the heroic bravery of people fighting to keep the world from spiraling into chaos - what more can you ask for? Crowe's Rebellion is a symphony of Love and Defiance in equal measure - its message is clear and simple - Life is worth fighting for and Love is always a gift! "
That ending, though!
"Wow, another phenomenal read from this author. The ending left me absolutely shattered- like full on wrecked. A sobbing pool of emotions. The story was written so well; the characters were all well developed and loveable, the plot was gripping, and there were enough surprises to keep you guessing. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started, but upon finishing I definitely want more. Looking forward to reading the next one! "
An epic fantasy that will take your breath away
"Don't be startled by the length of this book. Once you dive in, you're so immersed in the beautiful and enchanting world that this author put together that you'll be begging her for more. Crowe's Rebellion is (thankfully) only book 1 of a fantastical Fae series that will keep you guessing (literally. There are riddles involved, but that's all I'm gonna say!) and your heart soaring. The chemistry between Evie and Bastian sizzles and pops, and their love only progresses along with the intricate whimsy and mystery of the story that follows a young woman who has lost her memory (Evie, I'm talking about Evie). I would say more, but I don't wanna spoil it! And trust me, there are plenty of twists and turns, each woven seamlessly into the story. If you want an epic fantasy/romance/erotica filled with drama, spice, unforgettable forest creatures, and more adventure than you could ever ask for, buckle up. This is a ride you won't wanna miss. "
One of my favorite fantasies on this app
"First off, I apologize to this wonderful author for taking an unholy amount of time to review this book. If I had all the time in the world, I likely would have devoured this in a day. Two, tops. I must admit, I'm envious of how words have come together for this author to weave such a perfectly crafted magical world. There was so much depth and attention to all the small details that as a whole, round out the fantastical and make it believable. So absolutely well done on that. And don't even get me started with this couple. Evie and Bastian are some of the best written characters I've come across. There's so much natural growth both through their journey and through each other. And the side characters aren't just fillers; they have a place that's more than comic relief or maybe someone to kill off to shock the reader. Their personalities and struggles shine from the pages just as much. Now, a tiny detail I noticed throughout the whole book is the use of the word "ground" in all its forms. If it wasn't used in every chapter, it was pretty darn close. I understand its usage could be necessary in a lot of the ways it was found, but there are many, many spots perhaps a synonym would suffice or remove it altogether. That extremely minor detail aside, this is an absolute must read. I mean, getting close to the end knowing there's a second book and wondering what it could be about when the author smacks me in the face with a whiplash cliffhanger? Perfection. Every fantasy reader will LOVE this book, and I hope it gets all the attention and reads it deserves."

Each chapter builds upon the last, drawing you deeper into its intricate world and leaving you eagerly turning the pages. "Such a captivating story! The author does an amazing job at pulling you in with a balance of internal thoughts, imagery and action filled scenes. I’m really enjoying the story so far! The main characters are well written and developed. They also have very distinct voices, which can be hard to do. Bastion and Evies dynamic is full of tension and chemistry, that it makes it so easy to get lost in the story. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to read the rest myself:) "
