The crackling sound of distant thunder rumbled through the darkened sky. Raindrops began to fall, splattering against the barren landscape, but for the towering figure standing in the middle of a grassy field, it might as well have been the piss of the gods.

Veyron stood there, soaked to the bone, his black hair plastered to his forehead as he threw his head back and screamed at the heavens.

“YOU SPINELESS, SELF-RIGHTEOUS, PRUDISH BITCH! IS THIS HOW YOU DEAL WITH A MAN WHO’S SIMPLY BETTER THAN YOU?!” His voice was raw with fury, echoing through the forest that surrounded him. “BANISHING ME TO THIS WORTHLESS BACKWATER WORLD?! YOU THINK THIS IS ENOUGH TO BREAK ME?!”

No answer came from above, save for another ominous roll of thunder.

He spat on the ground, his crimson eyes glinting with malice. “I hope you choke on your own sanctimonious bullshit, Goddess. The next time I see you, I’m gonna—”

Suddenly, a cheery ding sound rang in his head.

[System Activated: Welcome, Host! The ‘I Only Tame Hot Demi-Humans’ System has been successfully installed!]

Veyron paused mid-rant, blinking as a glowing blue text box appeared in front of him. For a moment, the sheer absurdity of it all stole the words right out of his mouth. But only for a moment.

“Oh, for the love of—what the hell is this now?!” he bellowed. “A bloody system? You mean to tell me I’ve been reduced to some third-rate isekai trash protagonist?” He kicked at the air in frustration, but the system screen followed him, bobbing along like an annoyingly cheerful pet.

“Get out of my face, you ridiculous—!”

The screen flickered, unbothered by his fury.

[Please calm down, Host. As part of your banishment, you’ve been assigned a system to... assist you in adapting to your new circumstances.]

Veyron’s left eye twitched. “New circumstances? I’ll show you new circumstances once I get my hands on that pompous Goddess...”

He clenched his fists, ready to unleash another barrage of obscenities, but then he paused, his manic grin returning. The moment was too perfect to pass up. He straightened, flicking his wet hair back with an exaggerated flourish.

“You must be wondering how I got here,” he said, his voice dropping into a conspiratorial tone as if addressing an unseen audience. He placed a hand on his chest, eyes gleaming with a mix of madness and charisma. “Well, let me tell you, it all started back in my previous world—a world where I, Veyron of the Demon Kin, WAS A GOD.”

Flashback: A World Where Veyron Ruled

“Ah, the good old days...”

Veyron’s smirk widened as the world around him blurred and shifted, his memories taking shape like a vivid dream. The stormy skies disappeared, replaced with a vibrant, crimson-lit throne room where he lounged atop a lavish, obsidian seat. His demon soldiers stood in disciplined rows before him, and scantily-clad women of all races—humans, elves, even a few angels who’d fallen into his grasp—catered to his every whim.

Back then, everything was his. Kingdoms burned at his command. Heroes sent to slay him ended up as playthings or corpses. And any woman who caught his eye? Well, let’s just say they didn’t resist for long.

“Ahh, such fond memories,” he sighed, his voice thick with nostalgia. “Those heroes thought they could stand against me. But in the end, they all fell. All of them, pawns in my grand game. And the women? Ha! They adored me... even if I had to use a little... persuasion.”

He chuckled darkly, eyes flashing with mischief.

But then came the Goddess. The one being who dared oppose him, who was immune to his charms and schemes. For years, she had played the role of a silent observer, allowing the so-called heroes to try their luck against Veyron, only to see them fail miserably.
