Chapter 1
The kingdom has been ruled by the Thorson family for over 6 generations. This is no surprise as the Thorson family is the most powerful family amongst the supernatural beings known as the Perfectus. The Perfectus clans are made up of 5 influential families. When a child of the Perfectus clan turns 18 they have exactly four years to find their mate. Their mate must be married to them and that marriage must be consummated. Once this is achieved the life span of these supernatural beings is extended to 10 years for every year lived. The powers are only activated if a true mate is found. This is why above everything else, the Perfectus family clans looked at finding their mates as the most important task that can be achieved.
If a Perfectus being manages to find their mate marry them and consummate the marriage there’s a 50% chance that both of them and their found mate can be immortal. So far this is only ever happened three times in living memory. What makes the Thorson family so powerful is that the current King Theodus Thorson was one of the few that ever became immortal with his mate. His mate was killed in a tragic raid causing the King to lose his immortality. As luck had it before the Queen died the King add managed to sire two sons Primus and Daedalus. What makes the Thorson family also so powerful is that, unlike the other families once a mate is found and consummated 80% of them have the likelihood of becoming immortal. The first born Primus, was his father’s favorite, born to lead the next generation, held to be the best, need to be the best.
Primus was a tall man 6 foot 3 with broad shoulders, although he had inherited his father’s chiseled looks there was an unmistakable layer of fat all over his body. There was no doubt that he was a fierce warrior, someone with high skill someone who was very strong but it was also equally obvious that he was a man who indulged. Primus had a taste for extravagant and fatty food and even went as far as having a French baker, a fry chef, and a chocolatier on-site. With thin blonde hair gelled back and sky-blue eyes, he was often described as being as beautiful as Apollo. Afterward, behind his back people will joke and say “More like Dionysus, the God of partying and wine!” Daedalus being the second born was weaker, at least this is what he was told all his life.
The King would spend hours training praising and discussing the future with Primus, molding him into the King that he hoped he would become one day. Whereas Daedalus was left to do the heavy lifting and generally just be the right hand of the King. His responsibilities included managing the family businesses and he was often left at the different engineering sites to oversee all the projects. It didn’t matter how hard Daedalus worked or how much profit was generated, it was always Primus who would get the credit, smiling on the front covers of magazines and being celebrated by the King.
Daedalus always secretly wondered if he was the stronger of the two. He stood gazing at a full-length mirror taking in the jet-black hair that sat on his head in gentle waves and his green eyes filled with sadness insecurity and doubt. He was much leaner than his older brother and although never allowed to admit it or stand up to his full length he would technically have towered over his at 6 foot five. Looking down at his arms he saw that he lacked the bulging muscles of his brother instead he was hard, strong, very lean, and defined with almost no fat. Similarly, his shoulder was just as broad but looked smaller carving its way down to his very defined abs. From his pelvic bone downwards there’s a very definitive V that often was used as a point of radical by Primus. Primus often mocked his brother saying that he looks like a scrawny weakling.
Daedalus clenched his jaw staring back at his reflection. From his dimpled chin to his high cheekbones he hated everything about himself. He closed his eyes and thought back at the last competition he and Primus had. The same thing always happens. Daedalus would think he was getting the upper hand such as in a wrestling match. He would feel Primus use alpha wave control to suppress Daedalus’s strength, as a consequence he would always buckle under and Primus would take the lead.
Often making a large show of the final moments Primus would look to the crowd to his future bride and as she licked her lips seductively, he would then deliver the final humiliating blow. As part of Primus’s victory gloat, he would chastise Daedalus by saying “isn’t it nice to feel like you might have won? well guess what little brother let me show you how victory would taste”. And as per usual, Primus would celebrate his victory by disgustingly groping and tongue-kissing his promised woman as the crowd cheered.
There were so many things Daedalus was to be envious of. but the one thing that cut at him the most was Isabella. Ever since he was eight years old and he first laid eyes on Isabella he had fallen madly in love with her. She was one of those girls that made everything look effortless she had beautifully almond-shaped Hazel eyes, seductively full luscious lips a perfect nose, and unbelievably straightened, styled, and highlighted blond hair. She had the kind of figure that supermodels would be envious of she had curves in all the right places. her breasts were incredibly rounded and the largest he had ever seen. No item of clothing seemed substantial enough to contain them and when the weather was right her n*****s could be seen pushing against the fabric. Leaving Daedalus with awkward half-erections. The shape of her hips or just that perfect amount of sway it had was also mesmerizing. Again it didn’t seem to matter what she wore the definition of her backside was always phenomenal. She was his first wet dream and often his inspiration at night. A fact she dint seem to mind and, at least in Daedalus’s mind, encouraged.
Daedalus did everything he could to gain her attention. He would write her poems and would try and invent things to make her life easier. He even went as far as to write her songs and pick flowers. it didn’t matter what he did all she would ever do is chuckle kiss him on the cheek and said aren’t you a cutie pie Daedalus. But that was the extent of it. for you see Primus had not only noticed Daedalus’s interest but the moment Daedalus had confided in his older brother Primus, had decided that this too shall be his.
Primus persuaded Isabella to date him, she instantly said yes too. Primus and Isabella had become a power couple. Isabella loves the attention she got every time she was with Primus and enjoyed maKing Daedalus following her around by subtly implying that her true feelings were for him. Isabella craved power and fame more than anything she knew that marrying Primus would guarantee her a seat as a queen. Although they weren’t mates a marriage that was consummated would still result in an extended life beauty power and wealth. Isabella’s family had vast wealth from vineyards and the union would prove lucrative for both families. Daedalus wishes that he could forget about Isabella but every time he thought of her with Primus he felt part of him rip in two.
