"YOU BETRAYED ME! YOU BETRAYED US!" I roared. I was more dead then alive. I hear her heels coming closer as she laughs. My head feels so heavy, i can feel my pack dying. "WHY?"..(i sobbed) "awe poor little Lanie  wonders why i betrayed her hahahahaha. Go back to the beginning of your story dear and think really hard" she laughed as she kicked me in my skull sending me off to the unconscious unknown.

12 years earlier

Alpha killian POV

As we rushed in to help the neighboring pack we knew we were to late. I gathered all the witches and vampires i could find to start helping find the wounded and trying to keep anyone alive that was still alive. "FUCK" i scream out as i look at all the bodys i had only gotten the distress call two hours ago how could there be so much distruction to a pack who was just getting started who never hurt anyone, or so I thought

"KILLIAN YOU NEED TO COME SEE THIS....NOW!" Marian one of my witches and mate screamed

As i walk over to her i can feel her emotions losing control which can only mean one thing....dead pups. My heart started to ache as i made my way around her they killed them all there where a pile of pack children dead and huddled together for safety. I put my hand on my mate and pull her towards me before she explodes. The pain she is feeling surges through me and also the rage . "I cant see who did this" marian shuttered " they have someone more powerful then me and this wasnt random" she broke i fell with her to the ground.

I calmed her best i could " marian we have to look for survivors with the rest of them, we will give everyone a proper burial i promise." She nodds her head and stands up just when i thought the worse was over on of the vampires races up to me fear in his eyes.

"Alpha, i need you and luna marian to come with me i think i know why the pack was attacked  " we followed slate to a underground bunker he breathe out , "i cant go back in there i wont be able to control my self i havent fed in a few days" i nodd at slate knowing he wouldnt send me to my doom.

Marian and i walk down into the bunker marian gripping my hand so tight it would of broken had i not been a wolf. She knew what was behind the door and she wept. I on the other hand had to open it to seen the horrors the horrors that were done over time and not during the attack.

I sit marian down in a chair outside the room and i enter i see bodies of children and in the center i see two chairs with two tiny beings with such red hair it looked like fire . As i got closer i noticed they were shackled and muzzled and broken

I touch one of the girls and her eyes shoot open with terror i back away

"My name is alpha Killian and I am going to remove the muzzle from your mouth the people who did this are dead and you are safe you are both safe" I say as I noticed the other red-headed little girl opened her eyes as well.

I removed the muscles from both girls and remove the shackles.

They both stand up wobbly and malnourished skin and bones couldnt be more then 3 or 4.

Marian sticks her head in the room and breathes a sigh of helpnessness one of the girls hears and runs full force towards her clinging to her like a life line the other girl stands there waiting to be told what to do. Marian is sobbing holding this small child

"Doc needs to see them right away killian" she crys" you don't know what they did to them" she is bawling even harder holding onto this tiny child while the other one is slowly making her way to her she sniffs her and then also clings to my mate..

I mind linked my pack dr telling him i have two important patience and to meet me at my house with the childrens nurse with him from the nursery wing of the pack hospital.

Marian and i help the girls into the helicopter as i leave slate in charge of helping anyone who was wounded he was more or less just bury bodies. No one survived except the girls who we know realize are twins.

We get to my home and unload the girls dr perkins is already there with nurse avery ready to help the girls into the house the girls backed away from both the dr and nurse so we scooped them up and brought them in and into the makeshift exam room they made. As marian helped the girls into exam robes and put them on the table her face paled.

"What happened to them alpha?" Asked dr Perkins. "I dont know but i need you to some how exam them and make sure they are okay they seem petrified. And i can see scaring from here" dr perkins sighed and dried his eyes and walked into the exam room he started off by having marian ask questions but they didnt speak. So doc perkins tried something else yes or no questions.

"My name is dr perkins" he said to the girls

" You can call me doc. Can you speak? " Both girls nodd no

"Are you hurt anywhere ?" Both girls and my mate all nodd there heads marian did help them get into the exam gowns she would know. " I have to take a look and im not going to hurt you" the girls start to back up on the exam.table and push against marian. She whispers something to the twin with the green eyes and she slowly pulls her gown up showing her whole stomach black and blue with what seems to be old knife wounds.

And then the second twin with the blue eyes did the same as her sister. I watch my mate being strong through the glass but i feel her breaking inside her head.

"Im glad they are dead" she linked me her pain radiating off of her.

After two hrs and doc helping the girls and giving them a lollipop which it seems like they had never had vefore because it was the first time i had seen them smile in hours since i met them. We tucked them into the room next to my and marians and left the door open and let them know we were there

We went down to talk to doc about our new toddlers

"Alpha how old did you say they were?" Asked doc

" I didn't but i think they look around 3" i stated

" There extremely malnourished alpha there not 3 they are 6/7 I fear they were part of the old ways,." He sighed head hanging

"What do you mean doc what ways because these are not our ways" marians hand rested on my back " i can explain my love , twins are a rare blessing to any magical creature. But with twins comes the unknown for every species. They could be magical or not , one could be the other not, and in some cases even more special blessed beyond measures. But " she coughed and tried to clear her eyes

Doc steps in "but there was a time when the unknown wasnt enough for wolves and witches. Nature vs nurture was brought into the magical world and the experiments started. Drown one, see if the other feels it, remove body parts, sexual assult, torture it was out lawed to do this to twins of any age by any magical creature."

He sighed and continued "the girls are identical twins but were altered i believe they both had blue eyes at one point but the eyes of the green one were changed by sticking her in the eye with needle and dye theres no reason for this except torture and to tell them apart. She was tortured more, its evident but they were both stunted i don't know if they will ever grow properly but we need to find them somewhere safe to be monitored "
