Untitled chapter 2
Fiona
“Fiona?” Yvonne asked me. Her sudden voice startled me. I looked up from my lap and made eye contact with her.
“Are you okay?” Dad asked me. I nodded.
“As good as you can get when you are about to become the ruler over a region.” Yvonne teased. I rolled my eyes.
“I’m fine. It’s just a lot of pressure to run an entire gym challenge by myself.” I said while running my temples.
“In previous years, the Leauge had helped you. Now with your 18th birthday coming in just 3 days, you will finally be old enough to handle this by yourself.” Dad said.
Hi. I’m Princess Fiona Paldea. I’m not the ruler of Paldea yet but I’m about to be. I’m currently 17 but I’m almost 18. Yes, I am apart of the Rulers. Prince Gerald Unova is my father, Princess Yvonne Kalos is my sister and I don’t know my mother. I won’t completely be in charge of Paldea as the Leauge does have full control until I turn 25. But I will mostly have control over it.
I walked out of the castle and decided to go on a tiny walk. Paldea was a beautiful region with beautiful people. Just recently, Geeta had retired from her position as Chairwoman and Champion of Paldea and gave her position to the Top Champion; Nemona. This was going to be her first gym cycle as Champion and Chairwoman.
Something sort of similar happened to the Ryan family. Hassel Ryan used to be the last member of the elite four. But due to old age, he retired his position and gave it to his grand daughter Rayanne. However, This wasn’t going to be her first gym cycle as an Elite Four member.
I lived in Alforanda. Somewhere far away where not many people lived. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfect for my image. Most of the Rulers never really lived in their region. Except for Henry. He was like a local celebrity in his region. Yvonne lived in Paldea despite her being the ruler over Kalos. Dad lived with me too despite him being the ruler of Unova. Cousin Laurie lived in Hoenn along with Cousin Hailey. I don’t actually know where Uncle Johto lives. Grandmother Kanto lives in Kanto, obviously. I wasn’t alive before Uncle Hoenn died but I heard from Dad that he did live in Hoenn all his life. Like he had a special connection to the region somehow. All these amazing stories I keep hearing about him just makes me wish I knew him before he died.
