Title: Blood & Obsession

Chapter One: A Dangerous Encounter

The city never truly slept, its streets alive with flickering neon signs and the distant hum of sirens cutting through the crisp night air. Hidden beneath the artificial glow, where shadows stretched long and secrets thrived, was the world Jason ruled—the underbelly of the mafia, where fear and respect were earned in blood.

Jason never tolerated disobedience. He was cold, calculating, and unrelenting, a man who took what he wanted without question. But even he wasn’t prepared for the storm that entered his life in the form of Ken—a delicate, fragile student who had no business being caught in his path.

Ken had always been an anomaly in the cruel city—a breath of purity in a world tainted by sin. He lived quietly, focused on his studies, keeping his head down and avoiding trouble. But fate had other plans, and trouble had a name: Jason Romano.

Their first meeting was anything but gentle. Ken had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, stepping into a world he had no understanding of. He had only wanted to grab a coffee before heading home from university, but the moment he walked past the secluded bar in the alleyway, he felt the air shift.

A gunshot cracked through the night, freezing him mid-step. His breath hitched as he turned toward the source of the sound, and that was his first mistake.

Jason’s cold, steel-gray eyes locked onto him from across the dimly lit alley. Ken felt like prey caught in the sights of a predator, his pulse pounding as the imposing man stepped forward, his tailored suit untouched by the chaos behind him. Blood splattered the pavement—a grim warning of the power Jason wielded.

Ken should have run. He should have pretended he hadn’t seen anything. But fear and fascination held him rooted in place.

Jason tilted his head slightly, as if contemplating something. Then, with a flick of his wrist, two of his men grabbed Ken by the arms. Panic flared in his chest as he struggled, but their grip was firm, unyielding.

“You saw something you shouldn’t have,” Jason murmured, his voice deep and laced with quiet menace as he stalked closer. “Tell me, little thing, do you have a death wish?”

Ken’s throat went dry. “I—I didn’t see anything. I swear!”

Jason chuckled, a low, dark sound that sent shivers down Ken’s spine. “Lying isn’t very smart, baby boy.”

The pet name sent a violent shudder through Ken, though he wasn’t sure if it was from fear or something else—something he refused to acknowledge.

Jason reached out, fingers ghosting over Ken’s trembling jaw before gripping it firmly. His touch was paradoxical—gentle, yet claiming. His thumb brushed over Ken’s bottom lip, and the intensity in his eyes made Ken’s stomach twist.

“You’re shaking, little rabbit,” Jason murmured, voice dropping to something more intimate. “Does my presence scare you?”

Ken wanted to say yes, but the word lodged itself in his throat. Jason’s warmth seeped into his skin, his cologne intoxicating—a sinful blend of leather and smoke.

“Keep him,” Jason finally ordered his men, pulling away as if Ken were nothing more than an afterthought.

Panic surged through Ken’s chest. “W-What?! No! Please, I won’t say anything!”

Jason smirked, amused by his defiance. “That’s not how this works, sweetheart. You saw too much. Now, you belong to me.”

And with those chilling words, Ken’s quiet life came to an end. He had been dragged into the abyss—into Jason’s world. A world of danger, obsession, and a love that would consume him whole.

Little did he know, Jason had no intention of ever letting him go.
