"A sensational and very dramatic piece of writing, a little repetitive at times but I actually think it adds to the story. The development of the characters builds slowly and so far the main characters have hidden depths and turn out to be “nicer” than they first appear. It’s a while since I was this blown away by a book! I don’t like cliffhangers at all but this escapes being a true cliffhanger so am content to wait for book 2. "
