Chapter 1- Letter from the king
14 years later, Joey and Eva decide to own their own bakery. Being a baker is hard work, but anything will do if you’re looking for money. The greatest news arrived in the mail today when Joey and her family were getting ready to eat before a busy day in the bakery.
Joey and Eva, Belle, Yasmina, Kane are sitting at the table when a letter is dropped off at the mailbox. Belle gets up from the table and gives her mother Joey the letter.
Belle: Here you go mother, a letter came in for you.
Joey: Thank you, Belle.
Eva: What does it say, sweetheart?
Joey: It’s a letter from the king of England. His highness would like us to bake a cake for the queen’s birthday in a few days.
Yasmina: That means that we get to travel all the way to England and meet the royal family.
Joey: Yes Yasmina, you’re right.
Kane: I’ve never been to England before, I can’t wait until we get there. It’ll be something different.
Joey: You’re not the only one who’s never been to England.
Eva: I can’t believe out of all the other bakers, the king chose you to make the cake.
Joey: Yea, I know right.
Belle: Mother, when do we leave?
Joey: We leave tomorrow morning.
Eva: Well, I guess that means that we better get packing for our trip.
When everyone has finished eating breakfast, they begin to pack for their trip to the United Kingdom.
