The Battle for Hart's Pass

"Rich with prose, and quite unique in its narrative and dialog . An untold land full of hard, stoic men, all with honor and not an once of duplicity. No true villains make an appearance here, just sheer cunning, feudalistic conflict with no fancy head dressings for their gods. Even the doomed insist on honor. Classic lines like, "Hope is no method," sing out as this tale of warrior factions unfolds in a simple yet subtly complex dichotomy. Ironically, through his and ability to communicate, the main character goes against his honor, outwitting is enemy by showing that he actually owns them. This is a land that should be revisited, and often."

The Battle for Hart's Pass

"I am immediately transported to this new world through the ease of the author's words. The action of the story begins within a few paragraphs as the author skillfully introduces vivid characters. The author brings this story to life with beautifully chosen words, some like poetry. "Raucous laughter broke out and shattered the severity that had previously pervaded the room." Although this is one of my favorites, I enjoyed every line. Excellent Work!"
