Chapter 1

Lusi was going to school. She suddenly felt that someone was chasing her. She looked behind, but there was no one, so she continued walking. She again felt that someone was behind her, but this time she didn't look back and started walking with fast steps. However, she felt that the person behind her also started walking fast. She started running, but someone behind her also started running.

Suddenly, a rock came in her way, and she fell down. Then, she saw a strange woman standing behind her. She was so scared after seeing that strange thing that she tried to stand on her feet, but it was hurting her so much. Then, she saw that the woman was running towards her. She started screaming in a loud voice, but there was no one to hear her voice.

Then, that thing jumped on her. That thing was trying to beat her, but Lusi was trying to save herself. However, that thing was too fast. Then, her thoughts were that the thing would immediately beat her on the neck, and Lusi started screaming in pain

The blood continued to flow profusely from her neck, and she was in excruciating pain. The creature was eerily creepy and strange. Lusi noticed that its nails were abnormally large and dirty, and its face was disfigured with gruesome wounds. The creature's eyes seemed to gleam with hunger. Then, it attacked her eyes, and this time, Lusi felt herself losing consciousness. After a few seconds, she was unconscious.

She suddenly opened her eyes and rubbed her hands on her neck to check if the blood was still flowing. To her relief, there was no blood. She looked around, taking in her surroundings, and found herself in her own room, lying on her bed. She breathed a sigh of relief and glanced at the clock. Her eyes widened as she realized she was running late for school.

"Lusi, a high school student, lived in a village with her grandmother. Her parents passed away when she was child."

Lusi was all ready, and her friend Rose was already waiting for her to head to school. Lusi came downstairs, and they both walked towards their school. After reaching school, they went straight to their classroom. As they entered, they found a strange atmosphere in the classroom. Rose asked their classmate Aina about what was happening, but before Aina could respond, the door opened, and their Sir, entered the room.

Everyone took their seats, and Lusi sat down as well. Behind Sir, there was a boy wearing their school uniform. As soon as the girls saw him, they started whispering and gossiping with each other.

"Please be quiet, everyone," Sir said in a loud but calm voice. "He is your new classmate, Kim Taehoon. He will be studying with you from today. I hope you all will guide him and cooperate with him."

Sir pointed to a seat, indicating where Taehoon should sit. The seat was to Lusi's right. Taehoon walked over and sat down, starting to unpack his things. Everyone was staring at him, but he seemed oblivious to the attention.

Then, Aina, who sat in front of Lusi, turned around and saw Taehoon. She made a dramatic facial expression, as if she was about to faint after seeing his handsome face.

Then, Aina turned her attention to Lusi and whispered, "Isn't he perfect boyfriend material?" Lusi hummed in response, not looking up from her work.

Aina continued, "Do you know him?" Lusi replied, "How can I know him?" Aina leaned in, a conspiratorial look on her face. "Girl, he's a student from Joongdong High School in Seoul. His father is a police officer."

Aina's voice dropped to a whisper. "Apparently, some boys in his school were bullying everyone, and one day, they badly beat up a boy. Taehoon tried to stop them, but they attacked him too. He fought back and beat them so badly that they ended up in the hospital."

Aina's expression turned serious. "Those boys' parents were very powerful, and they complained to Taehoon's father. But his father stood up for him, saying he was in the right and what he did was aelf defense Still, Taehoon got transferred here."

Aina made a sad face. "I feel so bad for him. He was a student at Seoul's biggest high school, and now he's here. It's just so unfair."

Just then, Sir's voice cut through the whispers. "Be attentive, everyone! Focus on the class!" Aina and Lusi quickly turned their attention back to their work.

Lusi snuck a glance at Taehoon out of the corner of her eye and found him staring back at her. She immediately looked away, feeling a flutter in her chest.

Some days passed like this. One day, Sir announced a test. Everyone was sad, but Lusi was excited because math was her favorite subject. After the announcement, Sir left the class, and Lusi saw Taehoon coming towards her. She wondered why he was approaching her and what he wanted.

Then, a voice cut through her thoughts. "Hey, Lusi, how are you?" Lusi tried to answer his question, but words wouldn't come out of her mouth.

Taehoon continued, "I need your help." Lusi made a confused face. Taehoon explained, "Sir announced a math test, but I'm not prepared yet. I also don't have a tutor who can teach me, but I've heard a lot about you - that you're a math champion. Can you please help me? I don't want to get scolded by my father for low marks, please....ee"

Taehoon made puppy eyes, and Lusi was smirking inside at his cute expressions, but her face remained neutral. "Okay, meet me in the library after classes," she replied.

Taehoon smiled in response and walked away. As he walked, he thought to himself, "Ahh, what was that? Why is my heart beating so fast? Oh, calm down, bro

After classes, they met in the library, where Lusi taught Taehoon math. She was impressed by how quickly he picked up the concepts. On the other hand, Taehoon couldn't help but continually stare at Lusi while she was teaching him. Whenever she looked his way, he immediately looked away, not wanting to make her feel embarrassed.

Time passed, and Lusi continued teaching him. "Ahh, I'm tired now," Taehoon said in a tired voice. Lusi smiled in response and glanced at the clock. It was 9:00 pm.

"Oh no, it's dark! Grandma is going to scold me," Lusi thought to herself. She quickly stood up, collected her things, and prepared to leave.

Taehoon noticed her sudden worry and asked, "What's wrong?" Lusi replied, "I have to go home now. I'll teach you again tomorrow, okay? Bye!" She didn't look at him and hurriedly left.

Taehoon was still processing what had happened. Meanwhile, Lusi was walking back home, looking scared. The street was dark, and she had a phobia of darkness and her grandma strictly told her to come home before getting dark beacuse everyone went inddors in village before getting dark .She continued walking, and then she heard a strange voice.

She approached the source of the voice and saw a black figure. It appeared to be a woman, and someone was lying on the street, their back facing Lusi. The woman was making strange noises. Lusi thought they needed help and that it was an emergency, but she was scared also.

"Hey... are you... okay... mam? Do you need help?" Lusi asked in a shivering voice. After hearing her voice, the woman immediately stopped making any noise and slowly turned to face Lusi.

Lusi's eyes widened as she saw the woman's mouth was full of blood, and the thing lying on the street was a man. The woman was eating his flesh. Before Lusi could process what she was seeing, the woman screamed in a loud, horrible voice and started running towards Lusi at high speed.
