Chapter 1
If in morning anyone have said to Ciara that life will take this turn of event she would have laugh it off saying they are absolutely delirious cause who would have thought that her outright adoptive parents will turn out to be that cruel to leave her to die drowning in middle of nowhere she hoped at least they will help her out of not out of generosity cause they were absolutely evil but for their image at least but she got it wrong. She feels her arms and legs beginning to lose all circulation and with each passing second, it is becoming increasingly challenging to control her breathing. She knows this is the end, but a part of her refuses to accept it. Through her hazy line of sight, Ciara is able to glimpse at the cruise ship she had previously been on. She can clearly imagine her parents sipping margaritas as they bask in the tropical sun while their children prance around in the pool and completely forget about her.
Ciara, who was an atheist, chooses to pray when she has nothing else to do, whether intentionally or by accident. “I know I’m not the best child, but I don’t deserve to die like this,” she remarked. Not like this, in particular. I want just one more chance to exact the retribution I am due. In light of this, she can feel her eyelids becoming heavy and that she is drowning, but she has lost the fight and is unable to stop it. One last chance is what she wished to get the retribution she wished.
She had to endure being an orphan, being adopted by an affluent family, and still receiving worse treatment than a doormat, so life wasn’t always simple. In addition to her own adopted father’s ongoing persecution, she was the target of continual snicker remarks. However, she had a plan. She was determined to leave their life after the cruise and never look back, but who would have imagined that things would get so bad that she would be sexually harassed by her own brother, slip off the railing in retaliation, and die in the middle of nowhere?
Her main wish, even in her final moments, was to leave her terrible family, find love, and start a family of her own so she could experience the familial feeling she had always desired. However, since she was dying today in the middle of nowhere, her dream would never come true. She no longer has hope and feels as though she is losing the fight against death and that water is slowly enveloping her. She was on the verge of losing the fight when she felt a hand grab her and draw her into the light, but sadly, her weary body was not cooperating, and her eyelids were too exhausted to open to view the rescuer.
