"I'm not the best at writing reviews, so bear with me.😭 I liked this story a lot, it was cute. Flynn and Charlotte seem like they'll be a good couple (Dustin can die). I don't usually read third-person stories, but this one is one of the good ones. Some grammar mistakes, but not anything that would make me cut my dreads out. I liked the banter and the end goal; it was a cute story. Happy writing!"

"Sooooooo I decide to start my first journey after so long in Inkitt by reading book by Salem Chabayta! I loved many of his previous works and I just have a feeling that I will like it as well, and I am not wrong! First, the story is very very cute and light. I dont think there is heavy conflict at all, it is so cozy to read and make you smile. The banter is cute and the way the relationship grows between Flynn and Charlotte is awesome to watch. I love that they grow as friends before they go anywhere romantic and I like how clean the romance is. I gotta admit that I am a traditional girl and a pure relationship in my eyes are those that grows outside of physical apperance, and I love that Charlotte and Flynn drown to each other's personality and traits first than their looks. Charlotte is definitely my favorite, she is kind, friendly, down to earth, definitely the type of girl everyone will be happy to be friends with. Thanks to her, Flynn goes out of his shell and everyone now can know him. I love almost every aspect about this book, besides: 1) ITS TOO SHORT. I WANT MORE!!! 10 PAGES MORE PLEASE? 2) Format I feel like Salem's previous works are more neat and structured compared to this one, though they are both good. I told author about this in comment section and I hope Salem will edit it later so it becomes even more and more wonderful! I am glad I choose this book to spend my time. Definitely worth every seconds 🤩"

"HeyO SALEM! XD Firstly, wanna say a big thanks for coming up with this adorable short story!😁 It’s such a warm, little read—perfect for anyone seeking for a tiny little dose of romance and sweetness!✨ This was such a joy to read; after Book 1 of The Life Series, this has to be my next favourite ‘romance’ book of yours!🥞 I admired the simplicity of the plot—a seemingly unnoticed guy in class, Flynn throwing up a party for his close friend, with the help of the class president, Charlotte and the other class members; all the while opening up his ‘mysterious’ self more. Charlotte and Flynn were crafted with great chemistry together—their little moments together were sweet to read! The side characters were limited, but that doesn't really matter—the focus on the main lead was maintained throughout!👍 My favourite scenes were the scooter ride and the very last part where Charlotte asked when he would ask her out!🤣 SOO CUTTEE HEBDHS I feel you could have just included just abit more reasoning on why Flynn was always unnoticed—I mean sure if the class size is relatively big, some people are bound to go unnoticed and stuff. Just adding a few more line sof elaboration on the part could have made it clearer👍 I liked how you didn’t dwell deeply over descriptions of places and characters—keeping it succinct for this short story was great in my opinion! But just that one part on explaining about how the classes worked could have made it better! Either ways, I thoroughly enjoyed the plot of the story—the pacing was spot on and elegantly written. Now for the language—I can really see a conscientious effort in improving your writing style as compared to your previous works! Great job!✨ I could see more of sentence structure variations! Among all your works, the flow on this is the most elegant and seamless! Dialogues were mostly realistic and easy to follow through! Grammar, spelling and dialogue punctuation can be brushed up! But overall, kudos for the great improvement in your writing style!😁 All in all, Everything is Unknown is a sweet, cozy little read for any romance lover! This book is a testament to the fact that simplicity is indeed perfect!😁 I absolutely adore the way you write romance-drama stories and can’t wait to read more of your works! "Such a fun and light romance with such playful and realistic banter between the characters. I found myself smiling along with them, and laughing when they were being silly. The two who discover each other and their feelings for each other have such an adorable scene at the end. It is a tender buildup towards an ending that warms the heart."

Interesting premise with oodles of potential
"What I've read of the story so far intrigues me. I like Charlotte and her kind-heartedness. Many kids at school don't get noticed at all and can have a big effect on them growing up. But sometimes, all it takes is one, very kind person to really bring the quiet kids out of their shell. Flynn is cool too; I like his sort-of dry wit and how easily he can wind-up Dustin, who sounds more like a typical popular kid, used to getting his own way. There is quite a bit I'd really love to know though, in regards to the set-up and rising actions. The story is set in Geneva, Switzerland; not everyone here will know about how the education system works for Swiss High schools but I would like to know more! Don't be afraid to incorporate more of that into the story. Education and school-culture is a huge part in a teenager's life; embrace that. Tell us how things are done in a Swiss school, how much influence a class president has over other students (here in New Zealand, we had class captains who didn't have much influence, other than being something of a representative on behalf of other students) and most of all, tell us more about Charlotte! How did she become so popular? What's her family life like? What makes her tick. Please don't be afraid of sharing these details. It's all a part of letting us readers get to know your characters more intimately. If I could advise you on anything though, I would suggest making the point-of-views more clear. A couple of times I wasn't aware on who was sharing their perspectives. And also don't be afraid to add some more detail here and there. Simple things like facial expressions, immediate first impressions of the new characters or even some odd facts about your background characters here and there. Most of all, I would advise you to let loose, explore and create. Add details, even if you fear that others think they're pointless. They won't be pointless to you and if it's important for furthering your story, go for it! "

"All that will be said in this review is subjective and should be taken with a grain of salt: 1. The premise is great and a very interesting plot device. The execution of the premise suffices and the moments playing off of it are the best in the plot. Now... the plot -- the storybeats add to the central idea and have direction, though I feel like there is lack in *Specific* Direction/Focus when it comes to the execution. (And I do not mean it as in Theme, as I read this story as lacking a central theme or moral lesson; being a cozy story there to entertain and accompany the reader instead). 2. The Characters feel like actual teens and there are golden nuggets of dialogue which have reminded me of the atmosphere from when I was in Highschool (I had the tame experience of social highschool life). We get indirect characterization from Flynn which works great with the plot device, as it should compliment it. Otherwise, direct characterization and exposition dominates the narration, which with a little more polish and showing over telling in the prose, would have worked well. 3. There were a few typos or mistakes but nothing too jarring. 4. The writing style personally did not swoon me over. A little over-repetitive, a little too much info-dumping implemented instead of scattering the information more (even if this is a limited, short story); unecessary imbalance in Telling VS Showing. Of course, the nature of the story demands more telling but instead of a wave of telling carrying shells of showing (especially for Flynn), I felt like I was drowned, which I was indifferent toward to. I do like the directness and use of simple vocabulary to maintain the light tone of the story and it paired with the formatting makes the pacing appropiate (sometimes a tad fast) and the flow easily digestible. 5. Overall, I do like this story. It's quite good without my nitpicks taken into account and very decent with them. Keep writing and sharing safe worlds for fellow readers, dear author."
