Prologue
Once upon a time, the world was a place of peace and harmony. The seas, vast and deep, reflected the tranquility of a humanity that had learned to coexist with its environment. Nations were united, confrontation was non-existent. But that calm was short-lived, for out of the abyss emerged the Sirens, mysterious entities whose nature and origin were unknown. Without warning, they unleashed a cataclysm on humanity, sinking entire fleets and sowing chaos in every corner of the seas and countries around the world. Humans could not stop them, and little by little, every nation succumbed to the power of the Sirens.
In desperation, humanity found hope in the Shipfus, the shipgirls, warriors born from the fusion of advanced technology and the power of the most legendary ships in history. Together with a few chosen humans, commanders capable of leading the Shipfus in battle, they managed to stop the unstoppable advance of the Sirens. Together they forged an unprecedented alliance, confronting the threat and restoring to the world the peace they longed for.
Years have passed since that devastating war. The oceans, once battlefields, are once again routes of peace. Humanity has prospered, a project was created in case the Sirens ever re-emerged, Project Azur Lane.
Today the Shipfus live together with new generations of commanders, they keep in their bases, training for any new threat and hold championships to know who are the best commanders and the best ships. Still, the calm that reigns is fragile.
In the darkest depths, a shadow begins to move. The Sirens were not completely defeated, and something far more sinister is about to awaken. An echo of those days of war resurfaces, and with it, the promise of a new conflict.
The peace that humanity has fought so hard to maintain is about to be tested once again. The Sirens will rise again, but this time, the enemy will be more ruthless, more cunning... and they will not be alone.
The sea, once again, will be tinged with battles.
The real war is about to begin.
