Blood Types
Why are the blood types A/B/O? I know O was initially C, but not why it was relabeled. More specifically, I am wondering if there is any relation between blood type labeling and the Alpha/Beta/Omega system in werewolf stories, or is it just a coincidence?

Good question?? Rh is also sometimes called D
Originally the types were A, B, and C but C got changed to 0. I'm pretty sure if there's a connection with the werewolf stuff, it's something there werewolf folks came up with.
O comes from Ohne, the German word for 'Without' A holds the antigen markers in the blood, B in the plasma O doesn't have any so are "Without" the markers - Totally not linked to the WW A/B/O genre
