Part 1

Left, right. Left, right.

How long was I asleep? And why am I in a void now?

A young-looking woman, I’ll call her Blondie, was walking through a void. She had blonde hair, pale skin, and green eyes. Our feet were held up by a magic barrier. Blondie is a chatterbox, even though she couldn't see or hear me. I had jumped in front of her, waving my hands, but she walked straight through me. I couldn't even tap her shoulder. So i just walked next to her.

There were so many questions I wanted to ask her. Who are you? Why are we here? What is your name? How did we get here?

Blondie started skipping, and she seemed to be happy. Why is she so happy to be trapped in a void? And to her knowledge, Alone. But I realized as she pointed straight ahead. There was a door.

How strange

I follow Blondie to the double doors. She held a curious look, then started mumbling things I couldn't hear. She grabbed the handle to the door, about to open it, but there was a nameplate on it.

My darkest secrets. Don't open!! :)

I looked at Blondie as her eyes scanned the plate. Without a care, she opened the door. Crows burst out of the door, flying and cawing. Crows...

A sign of death.

Blondie walked into the room. Before i could even look a rancid smell, that I could nearly taste, hit my nose. I pinch my nose closed, but it futile, the odor was too powerful. I peeked into the room, curious to what the smell was.

Two dead bodies.

What the fuck? Why am I stuck in a void with a blonde girl, a room with two dead bodies, and crows?

Blondie returned with a book she snatched from the horrifically blood-stained room. The book warned us on the first page, just like the door.

Don't open unless you're me!

I looked at Blondie, while my mind was morbidly curious about the murderer's secrets, but also terrified, she opened the book. I leaned over her shoulder, reading the words.

February 27th

Tomorrow is our birthday. The perfect day. We would share a birthdate and a deathdate. We must be tied forever that way!

February 28th

I'm going to kill us today. First her, and then myself. I'll make her death slow, pleasurable. So she knows I'm doing this out of love, out of care for her. Then I'll kill myself fast, so she doesn't have to be alone long.

I love you Lise, with all my heart.

I was struck with a memory, something I wish I had stayed forgotten.

No.

This... can't be right.

I took a step away from Blondie, or should I say, Anna. Those two bodies... One belonged to Anna, the other?

To me.

February 28th. Our birthday. That's when I died.

That's the day we died.

Everything was falling into place now, like a macabre puzzle. Who I am, where I am, and why I'm in a void, was now answered. But one thing I couldn't figure out.

Why am I stuck with Anna!?

“Why…" My voice trembled with pent up anger, frustration, and hate from our lifetime together. "Why can't I escape you!? Did you negotiate with God!? You killed me, Anna! Why am I stuck in eternity with you!?”

Hear me Anna! Feel my ire! I want a response. I want you to answer me you sick bitch! You say you loved me, but who kills the one they love?!

I couldn't bring myself to ask, to scream those words. I wish she would just speak to me, to explain the twisted sense of her obsessive love.

"Leave me alone, Anna! I will never love you," I felt the tears rush down my face, falling to the invisible barrier holding my feet up. "Never in eternity!"

Anna looked at me.

She fucking looked at me

“We're stuck together forever," Her smile— that wicked smile that struck fear into my heart. “I will always love you, my lovely Lise."
