Absolute MUST READ
"This is by far the best book I have read here on Inkitt. BUT, I gotta say, this is not a clichè book you just read in between. There are so many tiny details that you deem unimportant, but later they become relevant, so better take your time for reading. A woman dies and meets death, who offers her a second chance in life, is a funny idea, but it has often been used before. Making the grim reaper her wingman who tells her about her horrible dates in rhyme form is a new! The whole concept of the book is something I've never encountered before. Eliza is a very witty character, but the more time you spent with her, the more you understand why she is how she is. Same goes for Arion who carries the story and is the most golden retriever MMC I have ever read about. But the real show is the Grim Reaper, spilling out poems and mysterious hints, befriending the chamaleon (the author even posted some pictures of their own) and overall helping Eliza grow and heal. Even though it starts of as a romcom, and is labeled like that, there are surprisingly deep moments that made me shed a tear ot two. The topics sometimes turn dark, but the author kindly reminds you in comments to call your loved ones, which I always did. I spotted only two spelling mistakes, and one grammar mistake, a refreshing small amount given the length of the story. The narrative is dry and consistent, no plot holes, and everything wraps up in the end, not leaving anything unanswered. Overall, this book is a MUST READ for anyone who is tired of the same tropes recycled into every story! 10/10 can only recommend! "
The book I could not put down
"Dear author, I tend to read alot of books. However I must tell you this book is by far the best book on inkett. I was not able to put it down. Absolutely fckng brilliant. It's on my repeat list now that I just made since I know i want to read it again. Can't complain about a single thing... Would have like atleast 1 spicy scene but it would have ruined the story. Well done, keep up the great work "
*chef kiss*
"The last 10 chapters are a fast, wild wrap up that you will both see coming and be blindsided by. Up until that point you will come to love every single person mentioned with excellent character development. I’ve felt every emotion through this story, and abandoned all housey responsibilities in favour of devouring this. Off to read more of your stuff!! ♥️"

"I loved this story. You are a great writer. The first book of yours I read was devils attic, which was a great story. I've also read who killed Wanda Day and am currently reading how to end eternity. I look forward to more stories from you. 💜"
Oh so brilliant!
"It's really hard to write an honest review because I feel like whatever words I write won't do justice to the broad spectrum of feelings this book evoked. The book is simply fantastic, though there's nothing simple about it - the writing is top notch and the story is perfectly well thought through that you won't find a single one loose end. Everything fits together like pieces of a big puzzle and if you feel like something is amiss, I guarantee you that it'll either be revealed or you missed something. Also the story is so unique! Like be honest - how many books have you read where the main character died in the second chapter? I read one short story when I was 10-ish where the main character died in the first paragraph but it definitely didn't have the elegance of this book. And - in how many books did the main character died twice while still being a human?! And one tiny bonus for anyone reading my review: Poetry is not my forte But this time it's a must For it's the right way to convey And hope to gain your trust That this review is as sincere As it can ever get And you'll understand it As soon as you've read This fabulous piece of art That's sweet, witty, yet dark. Just prepare yourself for a sleepless night (Or perhaps even two) If you start to read this book With story so unique and new. If you think you can predict Whatever comes next I'll tell you it's a wishful thinking Or rather even flex! So hop on this wild journey And laugh along with Death And loose yourself in the story With every single breath. So go ahead, grab the book and prepare some drinks and snacks for this page-turner so you're not forced to nonsensically stop your reading. And maybe tell your family that you'd be awol for a while..."
Fabulous read, pack tissues
"This story is heart-warming, heart-breaking, and heart-wrenchingly human. Be prepared to laugh a lot, then find yourself reading "just one more chapter" because you need to know that they will be ok. This author has a very professional writing style, the books are beautifully edited and they are a pleasure to read. Do yourself a favour and spend some time with Eliza, Arion, Martha and Norman"
Dating With Death
"I love the character building and delightfully hilarious portions of the book. I would recommend this book to adults that enjoy some dark humor and slow burn love stories. "
Dating with Death
"The humor is amazing in the story. The characters are vibrant and full-bodied. You could just see them filling the room that you're in. I love the dialogue. It's witty snappy outlandish at times and so satiating. The little chameleon is adorable. And I love the cat named potato. Each character's life is woven so thoroughly into everyone else's. The story is just so natural and believable. Each of the characters are extremely charismatic and I think you could write whole books on every single character in this book. I can't wait to read the next book by this author. If you love witty humor and just great stories, I absolutely recommend this book 100%!"
How will Eliza’s deal with the Grim Reaper go...
"A woman named Eliza is about to be taken away from this world, but then a deal with the Grim Reaper postpones her departure! It turns out that the deal leads to her having a bunch of disastrous dating experiences though; and some are more humorously disastrous but some are far worse and involve people who engage in evil things like sexual assault and victim shaming. Will things improve for Eliza as she continues this deal with the Grim Reaper? And will there be some way that she can maybe change death from being “postponed” to death being “cancelled”? I’ve finished 25 chapters of this book so far; and it’s got some great humor, a clever plot, and gets the reader thinking about issues like what difficulties and dangers can be involved if one might want to try to brave the dating world that can be such a nightmare at times. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to reading the rest of it!..."
