Amazing plot!
"The language is simple, yet effective and hooks the reader. The setting is simple and not over-exagerated like it usually is in most mystery stories. Sophie is a believable and lovable character burning with wit and fire. I am especially impressed by the plot which turned the mystery in different directions. Great work...Is this book part of a series? The book seems to refer to a back-story which I would love to read, if available...."

"This was a fun read. Super easy to follow along with and compelling as you're drawn into Sophie's world of intrigue. Sophie is a lovable spitfire of a character, definitely reminiscent of a Nancy Drew type heroine, and yet unique in her own right. The side characters were well developed and, although I think reading the first book in the series would help to give a better overall view of Sophie's world, The Secret of Trail House Lodge does work as a standalone story. I found the mystery elements compelling, they kept me guessing, making me wonder right until the very end how the different arcs would tie together. It's a great story, enjoyable for all ages."
