Chapter 1: The Beginning
In the beginning heroes were just stories you've read about in comic books and watched on tv nobody believed that they would ever see one in a million years, But somewhere on a Ruby Red Planet there lived a group of immortal beings that called themselves "The Guardians" these Guardians were the watchers of the earth. Sensing the earth was about to be in danger from the galaxies most notorious space pirate Valentine and his brother Kravin the guardian's have selected four siblings to have the power to stand up and protect the earth, Each sibling was living his and her life their own way. Jason the eldest brother was starting his Junior year in college while his brother and sister's were in New York living successful lives his sister's Amy and Jennifer were CEO'S of their own company and Nathan the youngest was a Streetfighter in Downtown Brooklyn, With Valentine and his brother on their way to earth the Guardian's have bestowed upon these four siblings the power over the elements earth, air, fire, and water. But in time their powers will grow knowing this the Guardian's sent an immortal goddess to the earth to teach the siblings and guide them so they can become the heroes they're meant to be, The goddess arrived in New York at 12 noon on the 5th of November going off the information given to her by the Guardian's Nathan was the closest to her. Judging from the crowd she was in Redhook and Nathan was starting his next fight in the Southeastern warehouse where his power to control fire was activated the moment he entered the ring, Without any control the ring itself was covered in black flames he tried his best to put the flames out but was unable to do so everything he touched would get caught on fire. The Goddess saw the light from the flames and rushed to Nathan's location when she got there the warehouse was on fire with Nathan at the center, The Goddess walked into the burning warehouse after seeing Nathan covered in black flames sitting on the floor. She walked over to him he looked at her with tears in his eyes " I can't stop it" He said she reached out a hand with a smile and said, " Let me help you." He was afraid and hesitant to take her hand at first but he felt the love and care that came with it, He looked at her and for that moment he saw how beautiful she was " who are you?" He asked. The Goddess looked him in the eyes "My name is Rain and I'm here to help you."She said he grabbed her hand and went with her Nathan and Rain made it to the corner of Dwight street before she could explain everything that happened in the last few hours Nathan stopped Rain before they went any further "Where are you taking me?"He asked before answering Rain looked up at the sky sensing Valentine's fleet entering the solar system "There's not much time we must find your brother and sister's."She said. Nathan told her his sisters were in Manhattan they've got on a bus to Manhattan where they saw Josh one of the Guardian's Rain stood next to him "So what's the verdict?" She asked Josh looked at Nathan then back at Rain "The pirate's made the moon their base if you don't find the other three we'll get your sister to do it." He said Rain turned to Josh "My sister ain't no saint Guardian and you have no power over me I am much older than you and your friends watch your tongue." She said Josh saw the fire in her eyes but said nothing. Nathan grabbed Rains hand " We're here." He said Rain felt the warmth of Nathan's touch and turned to him for that instant she was falling for a mortal "Let's get your sisters Nathan." She said Nathan, stepped to the side to let Rain walk by Josh saw the love she had for Nathan " She's leaving soon you know that." He said. Nathan looked at the Guardian with rage in his eyes " Why would she leave?" He asked Rain was off the bus when she heard Nathan's voice Rain turned just in time to see Josh taking Nathan away from her Rain ran back on the bus to save Nathan but was too late, Josh was gone rain went to get Amy and Jennifer when Rain walked into Jennifer's building it was flooded the people was running out as Rain made her way to Jennifer's office the water has gotten higher and she can hear Jennifer's voice as if she was talking to someone, Rain opened the door and saw Jennifer and her sister the room was filled with water that was coming from Jennifer's hands and wind from Amy's body was blowing the papers on Jennifer's desk " Jennifer what's going on? Why is this happening?" Jennifer was looking down at her hands when she saw Rain standing in the doorway " Please you have to help us." Rain walked into the office and waved her hand everything was back to normal. Amy and Jennifer let out a sigh of relief they walked over to Rain with words of thanks " who are you?" Amy asked Rain grabbed their hands " Please you have to help me." Jennifer and Amy looked at each other " What happened?" Rain told them everything about what happened to Nathan, Amy and Jennifer were stunned to hear that their brother was taken before they were able to see him. Jennifer looked at Rain "where did he take him? Do you know?" Rain explained everything to them " Before we get him we need your brother Jason." Amy and Jennifer agreed with the goddess and told her where to find Jason. Jason was in the middle of class when he started a 4.0 earthquake not knowing he was the cause of it, Many people were injured some were dead Jason walked around helping as many people as he can. Before Rain and the others could get there Josh and Nathan appeared in front of Jason, It's been 2 years since the brothers have seen one another Jason didn't know how Nathan was there in New Jersey or who the guy was that was with him. "Nathan! What are you doing here?" He asked giving his brother a hug Nathan didn't know how he was there with his brother he turned to look at Josh but the guardian was already gone, Nathan turned to his brother " Jason have you heard from Amy and Jennifer today?" Jason looked at his brother and for the first time, he saw Nathan was worried about their sister's instead of himself. "No Nathan I haven't." Nathan pulled out his cell phone and called Amy " Hello Amy listen is there a woman with you?" He asked " Yes she's standing right here with Jennifer. Where are you? Are you alright?" She asked Jason, could hear his sisters voice the other end of the cell " I'm fine to listen I'm in New Jersey right now with Jason let her know the guardian brought me here so hurry and get here fast alright." He said then hung up the phone Jason looked at Nathan " what's going on Nathan? What woman are you talking about?" He asked. Nathan put his phone back in his pocket " Listen, Jason, I know this is too much for you right now but for once just listen to what I have to say, The planet is in danger and with our powers, we can save it." Jason didn't know what his brother was talking about " What powers are you talking about? We don't have any powers." Nathan held out his hand and black flames appeared Jason now knew his brother was telling the truth. Jason looked around at the damage caused by the earthquake and knew he was to blame for what happened just before they could meet up with Rain and their sister's Valentine appeared before them " Well hello my name is Valentine and you two must be Nathan and Jason." Nathan backed away from Valentine, Jason looked at his brother then at Valentine " what you want?" He asked Valentine looked at him " what I want Jason is for you to join me." Nathan stepped in front of his brother " why would we want to do that?" Valentine looked at Nathan " I'm not talking to you Nathan you and your sister's already made your choice now it's Jason's turn." Jason walked pass Nathan and stood at Valentine's side, Nathan looked at his brother " Why? Why are you going with him?" He asked. Jason didn't look at his brother instead he turned to the city " Look at the city Nathan I did this I'm no hero with these powers so this is goodbye brother and please forgive me." Valentine grabbed Jason's shoulder and they vanished. Just a few moments later Rain, Amy, and Jennifer arrived in New Jersey and met with Nathan, Jennifer looked around for Jason but she didn't see him " Nathan where's Jason? You said he was with you." Just then Rain walked over to the man that someday be her husband " Tell me, Nathan. What hat happened?" Nathan looked at her " Was Valentine he came and took Jason." As he explained everything Josh came to them this time he had a woman with him who looked a lot like Rain but with long silver hair. Rain looked at the woman "Nathan, Amy and Jennifer Y'all need to run far away from here now." As they ran away they've turned down an alley Nathan looked at Rain " Who was that Rain?" He asked, " Her name is Selen She's my sister she's a tyrant on my planet." Before they could get away Selen appeared in front of them " I'm not here to fight your sister I'm here to help." Rain stood there for a moment looking at her sister while Josh was talking his time walking, Rain had the chance to question her sister " What do you want Selen?" She asked, " It's like I said Rain I'm here to help you." Just before they could talk any further Josh finally walked up. " I see Y'all started talking without me." Rain and Selen turned and looked at the guardian before Selen could " what's the meaning of this Guardian?" Josh looked at her then at Nathan and his sister's " I can't help but notice one of the siblings is missing." Nathan and Rain exchanged looks " My brother willingly went with Valentine it was his choice alone cause he didn't felt like a hero with his powers, He caused a 4.0 earthquake and many were killed and some were injured." Josh looked at Nathan " That is no excuse on why you didn't bring him to Rain are you really that useless!" Josh yelled. Rain stepped in front of Nathan " You will watch what you towards my heroes guardian or I could kill you now." Amy and Jennifer walked over to Selen and Josh " What about Jason? What news do you have on our brother?" They said in unison, Nathan and Rain looked at Josh but the guardian didn't answer their question. Selen knew it wasn't because he didn't want to answer it but that he couldn't the other Guardian's forbid him from talking about Jason Williams.
