The Voice in the Wall
Most kids had nightlights or stuffed animals to keep them company. I had the Voice.
It started talking to me when I was six — soft, kind, curious. Not like grown-ups with their clipped sentences and tired eyes. This voice... listened.
“Echo,” it said one night, so quiet I thought I imagined it. “Are you okay?”
I stared into the shadows of my ceiling. My parents’ voices were muffled through the walls — another argument over something small. Again.
“Who are you?” I whispered, afraid I’d gone crazy.
“I’m Sora,” the voice said. “I live in the walls. I think... I’m here for you.”
I didn’t scream. I didn’t run. I just blinked at the ceiling, feeling less alone.
That was the first night I really slept.

why are there 2 of the same book? Is one of them a continuation? I honestly don't know which one to start with.
