𝕀n a world of magic, secrets and mystery, there lived Demons and Shayds, Wraiths, Lycynians, and Immortals, and magical practitioners, hellhounds, dragons and Necromancers. It is a wide world, and you never know what your neighbor just right around the corner, or even next door to you right now, truly is.
Demons and Shayds were bred long before Christ walked the Earth. They began with the first, twin brothers Drayven and Alexander Barathous. Reproducing with mortals birthing new bloodlines, they swiftly expanded themselves across all parts of the world. Growing in numbers and ranked by their abilities, Drayven, however, was the most powerful. He and his brother left death and fear in their path, becoming legends among the supernatural world. No two Demons or Shayds are the same, each with their own arcane-demonic talents, but all possess the original supernatural gene and immortality.
Wraiths were created approximately during the 105 CE era although this history is still unclear, supposedly known they were Romanians, clans of Albino men, women and children, fleeing to the Carpathian mountains after being attacked by an early settlement of the Roman legions, only to become victims to a dark, blood thirsty creature that escaped Hell. Over time, they had become the Strigoi, or Vampyre. With supernatural strength, speed, teleportation, and an appetite for mortal blood, these creatures are vulnerable to the daylight due to their delicate skin.
Immortals are a rare race, with their origins unknown. Some practice magic and possess long lives, but are not immune to death.
Lycynians were mortals in a village that occupied ancient Egypt, but wanting more, they worshiped Anubis, god of the Afterlife, offering sacrifices of animals or even fellow man. Growing pleased, he granted their wish for immortality and unnatural paranormal strength, but there would be a price, for each full moon, they would transition into skinny hairless jackals, a way of representing Anubis’ presence on the Earth, but the villagers considered it a curse and not what they had expected or asked for. However, over the centuries, they evolved into large muscular beasts able to transition at will, growing more aggressive during the full moon or on a blood-red moon. An alpha and first bitten, was black, looking like Anubis himself.
And half-breeds, people don’t think highly of them because they’re not purebloods, but they have varied levels of strength and arcanic capabilities, depending on their race, or species.
For centuries, they co-existed distantly but on an island in the year 2025, that all changed.
This is the story of Demons and Shayds, Immortals, Lycynians, Wraiths, hellhounds dragons, and how a young woman, a half-breed, both mortal and Demon, would become what these supernatural and paranormal races fear most.
I, Yzavela...am that half-breed!

@divinejoseph243498 thank you for your love and support! Book 2 is available but it's in the editing process at the moment. You can still read it if you'd like and I'll let you know when it's completed the revision process so you can catch up on the updates. Book 3 is unavailable as it's in the complete rewrite stage; plus I'm behind because I had personal issues that came up but it's going to get done. Thanks again!
I’m hooked!! Great storyline to begin with!!
Hi YzaDora
I recently read Secrets of Ravenstone Keeper of La Tecla Book One and I loved it so much. Your storytelling is rich with magic and mystery and I kept picturing how amazing it would look as a comic.
I was drawn in by the start at 666 West Alchemy Road and the moment the young half-breed discovers her destiny and training in Ravenstone. The world of demons and immortals, mystical creatures, and ancient powers is full of visual potential it would bring stunning energy to manga panels.
I specialize in adapting stories into manga and comics and I’d love to bring your story to life visually. No pressure though, I genuinely think your work would shine in comic form. If you’re interested in a paid collaboration I’d love to discuss bringing Secrets of Ravenstone Keeper of La Tecla Book One to life visually.
If you’re interested please message me on Instagram or DM me on DC (peterjones_90) so we can bring your story to life visually. I’ll be waiting to hear from you.
Regards
Peter
