Preface
Mt Crystos towers over the Valley of Min, a lone peak among rolling hills and valleys. Atop this great mountain, unreachable by any means known to man is a large cavern that reaches to the heart of the mountain. Inside this massive hole in the mountain lays the great dragon Arimore. He has lain in a dormant state for almost a hundred years. But something has stirred him, a scent on the wind.
Below Mt Crystos lay the peaceful kingdom of Calithorne. Queen Elara stood on the turret staring at the mountain wondering what secrets it might hold. She always felt drawn to its majestic beauty and hidden mystery. Stories of old spoke of a great dragon that abides atop the mountain but most thought that was all they were…stories and nothing more. No one remained alive who had ever seen the dragon and history can quickly become myth.
Unlike Calithorne, Mardock was filled with men of evil hearts, always seeking conflict and war. They carried a hatred for the great dragon for legend tells of a time when the dragon emerged from his home and destroyed the kingdom of Mardock and the great northern woods. None would have survived if not for the king hurrying as many as would fit into the dungeons and inner keeps. The dragon fire was unlike anything known to man.
What secrets does the mountain hold? Is Arimore coming to once again destroy everything in sight? This story tells the secrets of Arimore and the heart of a righteous and kind Queen. What battles will ensue and who will emerge victorious?
