Chapter 1

Cold wind blew through Madison’s long blonde hair; her spit ends blew about carelessly. It was disturbingly silent in her small town; usually, you’d hear kids laughing and playing on their trolleys, but not today. As she walked down Maple Street, she couldn’t seem to shake the feeling that someone was watching her. Madison continues to glance over her shoulder worriedly as she picks up her pace.

Not long after turning down Break Street, she heard footsteps behind her. Quickly, she turned around, but no one was there.

“Hello? Is anyone there?” she called out.

“Anyone?”

“This isn’t funny!”

she froze. Her pulse began racing and her eyes became as wide as a void. Madison could feel a warm breath on her ear, The motion of breathing scared her. Slowly a hand grabbed her by the waist and she was pulled up against a rock hard chest. She couldn’t breath, she couldn’t speak and she couldn’t move it was like watching a horror movie on the screen your not really in it but you still feel a fear.

The perpetrator slowly began backing up, taking Madison with them. He leaned down and whispered in her ear, his voice all too familiar.

“miss me?” her breathing stilled as the relisation hit her.
