Prologue || Aslan ||

“Boss, you should take it slow. You know-” I’m currently at a bar. Three cups of whisky and 6 shots shouldn’t be his concern; he’s not the one drinking. I did say that, but motherfucker, my head is throbbing.

“Don’t meddle in my business. Are you looking down on me?” I stare up at him; my eyes must be bloodshot from the way he flinched. My glare should have gotten his ass all sweaty. The bartender bowed his head and went to a different customer. I brought the fancy whisky glass to my lips; my eyes roamed around the bar and onto the dance floor.

The music is so loud and intoxicating, the peer of bodies smushed together makes me fan my chest with my unbuttoned collar. I feel like I’m stuck in the same squeezed number of bodies. Single life is hard, but this freedom gives me more air to breathe than relationships, bothering me to put my all in. Work is like that too, but if I have to prefer anything, it would be work.

My eyes didn’t stop moving, roaming around, despite the many eyes on me. I’m still in my work clothes, jacket off, white fancy shirt with top two buttons open, and sleeves rolled up. My necktie is also pulled down; I must look like a mess, but their eyes seem hungry for the money that my outfit shows off. I’m not in the mood to have a one-night stand this evening, so I just ignore the lusty faces that wheel in disgust at me for not lusting back at them. They’re worth less than fake diamonds; what audacity they suppress.

I raised my whisky glass once again, drinking it all up and making a rough sigh from the burn in my throat due to the aftermath.

The moment I put the whisky down, my eyes freeze on a particular body dancing, her curves against the clothed small dick of a man. My lips were moisturized impulsively as my eyes took in her moves, that plump ass, and her fancy dandy hair, before my vision snapped to her hand. They danced around in midair, opposite her hungry body dancing for lust; she was holding out her hand with her thumb tucked into her palm, making the sign ‘help me.’

I raised a brow. Is she serious? It’s hard to take it seriously when that silky red dress of hers tightly dances with her body. Damn it, not the time to get hard. I exhaled and got my ass off the chair, leaving my sweaty mark, walking towards the finest lady this evening bar has to offer.

Not even two steps close to her, I was being pulled onto her hot body with her hand grabbed in my messy tie, pulling it down further. My hands grasp onto her ass automatically, with no thoughts in mind except those sly eyes of hers and glossy, smug smirk.

I fell right into the predator’s den.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
