Interrogation Room

The notorious mutant from the X-Men universe Max Eisenhardt finds himself sitting across the table from a fellow Jewish man – Asher Sacks. Asher dawning his signature white helmet and suit decides to remove his helmet. Magneto finds himself restrained to a chair with special anti-magnetic restraints preventing him from using his powers. It was hard work for the Iron Patriot Bastion militia to secure Magneto – but they got the job done.

“Max, Max, Max welcome to the United Iron Patriot Republic” said Asher, “I am Asher Sacks. I can see that we’re getting ahead of ourselves.”

Magneto was flabbergasted as he gazed upon Asher – seeing a fellow Jewish man behind the notorious regime of Christian nationalism.

“You’re a fool!” cried Magneto, “Forcing me to be restraint while pandering to a notorious regime?”

“Relax Max, I know who you are I have read your profile from your universe” said Asher, “the regime of the United Iron Patriot Republic isn’t the same type of regime of the 1930’s nor any other similar regime.”

Magneto thought for a moment.

“Why are you letting me live then?” asked Magneto.

“I would like for you to live freely in my world” continued Asher, “providing that you and your mutants will be useful in helping the regime.”

“Some of the Mutant Brotherhood would never support a regime like this, it’s far too similar to other anti-mutant tyrants that we have fought” continued Magneto.

“On the contrary” continued Asher, “Christian nationalism oddly blends various races together. Other non-Christians can join in the ranks, so long as their faith doesn’t bother the regime.”

“You’re basically treating the so-called republic more like an empire” continued Magneto.

“Bingo, our Supreme Leader Jackson Walter Bond doesn’t shy away from the inspiration of transforming the republic into an empire” continued Asher, “it was an inspiration through ways of the rise of the Roman Empire. The Romans also had a multi-ethnic and religious communities supporting the empire.”

Magneto paused for a moment unsure what to do next.

“Let me think for a moment,” said Magneto.

Magneto lowered his headfirst thinking for a moment and yes – even praying to his old faith. The setting was authoritarianism – but not the same that he escaped as a child – he could live freely and be part of the new empire the Supreme Leader had carved up from the former United States of America.

“Very well Asher, I will take your word” said Magneto, “I will have my mutants not harm you, and they can get to live in peace.”

“Yes, in peace” continued Asher, “exactly what the Supreme Leader wants.”

Asher then grabbed a key card and used it to unlock Magneto’s restraints. Magneto could feel his powers returning to him. He smiled at Asher – feeling a kindred bond between each other.

“Thank you, Asher, I will accept your offer and your stay in this new United Iron Patriot Republic” smiled Magneto.

Magneto then placed on his helmet and began to head off to gather his equipment before moving on. Asher then sits down hoping to wait for the next inmate to walk on through to accept the ways of the United Iron Patriot Republic.
